According to some Republicans, the Bush committees together are raking in daily sums in the mid-to-high six figures, an intake that should guarantee an impressive showing once the first fundraising quarter concludes in March.

“Other candidates aren’t doing that,” said one unaffiliated Republican in Washington who had been recently briefed on the fundraising.

Its easier to just make shit up when you don't have to name names.

It's a way for the message to be shaped without anyone officially knowing the source of the message... IOW Jeb's team leaked this on purpose, but they didn't want to seem like they were bragging or beating their chest. Real leaks are a rare thing.

Yep.

You can take the most boring speaker in the world, give him a script of a slightly better than mediocre speech, and then have Will I Am do some auto-tuning and mixing of that speech with his singing, and end up with something that makes people cry and say, "Can you imagine how wonderful the world would be if this man were the president of the United States of America?"
