'Son of Hamas' warns U.S. fatally falling for lies
'Peaceful' Muslims following Quran's dictate to establish 'global Islamic state'

World Net Daily
August 25, 2010

As the son of a Hamas co-founder who became a Christian, a spy for Israel and a consultant to the Holy Land Foundation terror-finance trial, Mosab Hassan Yousef offers a rare perspective on the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood – at once the spawn of nearly every major Islamic terrorist group and of "mainstream" operatives in the U.S. such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Yousef, who recently was granted asylum in the U.S. after the Department of Homeland Security tried to deport him, told WND in a telephone interview Americans must understand that the ultimate goal of the highly influential Brotherhood is not terrorism but to establish a global Islamic state over the entire world.

"If they can establish this in a peaceful manner, that's fine," he said. "But they are required by the Quran to establish this global Islamic state on the rubble of every civilization, every constitution, every government."

The Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas in 2008 – the largest terror-finance case in U.S. history – presented evidence of the Muslim Brotherhood's "100-year plan" to gradually destroy the U.S. and Western civilization from within "so that it is eliminated and Allah's religion is made victorious over all other religions."

"This is not a doctrine of some freak Muslim," Yousef observed. "It's the doctrine, the requirement, of the god of Islam himself and his prophet, whom they praise every day."

One of the Brotherhood's prime strategies to help achieve its ultimate aim is to spin off groups such as the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, that attempt to give Islam a positive face, he pointed out.

CAIR, casting itself as a human rights organization, has often been called on by government and media to represent Muslims in the U.S. But it's origin as a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas is now widely documented, including in the WND Books best-selling expose "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America"

Flashback:

Mosab Yousef converts to Christianity from Islam, and denounces Hamas, which he once served. By James Heiser

A "Son of Hamas" Converts to Christianity

James Heiser | The New American
11 March 2010

For Mosab Hassan Yousef, the problem for his fellow Palestinians is simple: “The problem is with their God. They need to be liberated from their God. He is their biggest enemy. It has been 1,400 years they have been lied to.” The sentiment is hardly unique among observers of Islam, but it is striking given Mr. Yousef’s background as a former leader of the terrorist organization Hamas.

According to an Wall Street Journal article (“They Need to Be Liberated From Their God”), Yousef’s spiritual pilgrimage out of Islam not only led him to Christianity, but also into the service of the Israeli government:

"I absolutely know that in anybody's eyes I was a traitor," says Mosab Hassan Yousef. "To my family, to my nation, to my God. I crossed all the red lines in my society. I didn't leave one that I didn't cross. Now 32, Mosab is the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founder and leader of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Throughout the last decade, from the second Intifada to the current stalemate, he worked alongside his father in the West Bank. During that time the younger Mr. Yousef also secretly embraced Christianity. And as he reveals in his book "Son of Hamas," out this week, he became one of the top spies for Israel's internal security arm, the Shin Bet.

According to the report in the Journal, Yousef has kept “a low profile” the past two years while living near San Diego. However, now that his book, Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices, was released in the past few weeks, Yousef is speaking out even more boldly than he has before.

Yousef’s account is gripping: His father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, was among a small circle of men who founded Hamas in 1986. The young Mosab played a role in the first Palestinian Intifada, and speaks of the founding of Hamas as “a noble idea — resisting occupation.” Again, according to the Wall Street Journal,

Mr. Yousef traces his awakening to his first sustained exposure to Hamas cruelty. In 1996, he was arrested by the Israelis for buying weapons. He says he was beaten and tortured badly in custody. It was then that the Shin Bet approached him. He says he thought about becoming a double agent. "I wanted revenge on Israel," he writes. But when he was sent to serve his term at the Megiddo prison in northern Israel, he says he was more shocked by the way the maj'd, Hamas's security wing, dealt with other prisoners.

"Every day, there was screaming; every night, torture. Hamas was torturing its own people!" he writes. The Muslims he met in jail "bore no resemblance to my father" and "were mean and petty ... bigots and hypocrites."

The Daily Telegraph ran a story on Yousef’s conversion, and move to the United States, back in August 2008. At that time, he described his encounter with the Christian faith through a British missionary. Yousef said that as he learned about Christianity.

He found it "exciting," he said, and began secretly studying the Bible, struck by the central tenet "love your enemies."

Nevertheless he does not advocate the "collapse of Islam," but rather for people to acknowledge that after 1,400 years "it's not working any more."

He said: "It's not taking them anywhere. It's making them look ugly."

He hopes that Muslims will begin to question their religion and "fix it" by rejecting the parts that call for "killing others, cutting hands, cutting legs, torturing people and asking for destruction of entire civilisations."

He said that after he converted to Christianity, he decided he had to escape and "live my life away from violence because I couldn't coexist with that situation as a Christian."

Since that time, Yousef’s views concerning Islam have taken on a more adamant tone: Time has allowed for more perspective on his experiences. According to the Wall Street Journal article,

"I converted to Christianity because I was convinced by Jesus Christ as a character, as a personality. I loved him, his wisdom, his love, his unconditional love. I didn't leave [the Islamic] religion to put myself in another box of religion. At the same time it's a beautiful thing to see my God exist in my life and see the change in my life. I see that when he does exist in other Middle Easterners there will be a change.

"I'm not trying to convert the entire nation of Israel and the entire nation of Palestine to Christianity. But at least if you can educate them about the ideology of love, the ideology of forgiveness, the ideology of grace. Those principles are great regardless, but we can't deny they came from Christianity as well."

Mr. Yousef says he felt burned out and decided to stop working for the Shin Bet in 2006, against their wishes. He made his way to friends in southern California whom he'd met through Bible study.

According to his account, the power of the Christian message not only healed Yousef, it gave him the perspective to see the nature of Islamic ideology for the spiritual slavery that it is. And having learned the difference between the two faiths, Yousef cannot be silent.

But wait....

According to a lot of people here, Islam is liberty-loving peaceful religion that promotes religous tolerance.

Now I'm confused.

The U.S. has 170 bases all over the world. Who is invading and trying to take over the world again?

I'm not sure how anyone can be surprised that Muslim leaders wish to take over the world for Islam.

All religions are pretty much the same in this regard.

I understand what you're saying, but the SOURCE is coming from the "Son of Hamas co-founder," which I would consider a very credible source. He's an ex-Muslim who converted to Christianity.

Sure. But he's also a Mossad double agent. A Mossad double agent gets instant credibility to you just because he supposedly became a Christian? Which church did he join? John Hagee's?

YouTube - John Hagee denies Jesus as Messiah! (Mirror)

But hey. Let's I'm wrong, you're right, and this Mossad double agent can actually be trusted. How can he speak for the entire Muslim world? Seriously? At face value he was the son of a radical extremist. Would you agree with anyone that said the son of Pat "forced abortion in China is ok" Robertson spoke for the entire Christian world? And if Muslims are so united in their goal of creating a worldwide Muslim state, then why do they spend most of their time killing each other?

Son of Hamas co-founder Warned the American People. You Can Choose to Ignore it.

Yeah. Or you can panic and do exactly what Israel wants (*cough* invade Iran *cough*). Seriously Frank, as a non-interventionist what do you want to do with this information since you think it's credible? "Fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here"?

I don't support invading Iran. Don't put that on me.

Surely there is no one on here that actually reads this stuff and believe it... surely not :) The Muslim brotherhood was set up to overthrow the British control of egypt. To this day the british have more control over egypt than the Muslim brotherhood. They cant even hatch a plan to overthrow Mubarak yet a scary sounding story that will make this guy money is somehow proof of their masterplan. Trust me when i tell you that Muslims cannot decide where to put their shoes in their mosques, when does Ramadan start or finish or are mcdonalds french fries halal or not. The idea of a Protocol of the Elders of 'Crescents' or something is pathetic and laughable. :)

I don't support invading Iran. Don't put that on me.

I didn't "put that on you". I said you are a NONinterventionist! My point is what does Israel hope to gain from this information? I also asked what you think should be done. (You didn't answer that). Apparently you think the rest of us are ignoring Israel's propaganda at our peril. That means we should be doing something different. What?

Lastly did you see this?

Apparently Fox News has strong financial ties to an Islamic foundation that IT accuses of funding radical madrases. This is the same network that has been hyping the "We must confront the threat of global political Islam" the most. I'm sure you've heard of the Hegalian dialectic right? Problem, reaction, solution? The same group that's funding the problem (radical Islam) is funding the media stoking the reaction (Americans hyperventilating over radical Islam) and it's the same media proposing the solution (invade other countries and give up your freedoms). Follow the money Frank, follow the money.

I don't support invading Iran. Don't put that on me.

I don't either.

The accusation is thrown out there in our circles that if you are opposed to Islam philosophically or theologically then you MUST support neo-conservatism.

That is not the case...

Fight for Global Islamic State, conference told

The Australian AU
January 29, 2007

A RADICAL Islamic group yesterday called on all Muslims in Australia to work towards forming a pan-global Islamic state, while NSW and federal politicians traded blows on whether the group should be banned under the anti-terror laws.

More than 450 men and women packed into a reception hall at Lakemba in Sydney's southwest to hear speakers from Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation) outline their hopes for a single Islamic state that would overthrow all dictators, invaders and governments in every Muslim country across the globe.

The Khilafah conference was told that "humankind" could only escape destruction under "the divine order of Islam".

A conference declaration issued at the day's end called on all Muslims in Australia to "assume their responsibility for effecting political change in the Muslim world and to manifest universal brotherhood".

The radical agenda of Hizb ut-Tahrir was enough evidence to convince NSW Premier Morris Iemma that the group should be proscribed. "This is an organisation that is basically saying it wants to declare war on Australia, our values and our people," he said. "And that's why I believe they are just beyond the pale.

"Enough is enough, and it's time for the commonwealth to review this organisation's status and take the lead from other countries and ban them."

Federal Attorney-General Philip Ruddock confirmed federal police were monitoring the group, but said it could not be banned without solid evidence that it was urging violence -- and he challenged the NSW Government to come up with such evidence.

The conference called yesterday for the political destiny of the Muslim world to be in the hands of Muslims only, and for all external interference with their affairs to be rejected.

Addressing the conference, controversial Indonesian cleric and one of the Hizb ut-Tahrir leaders in that country, Ismail Yusanto, said Muslims were now facing a new dawn after a "long dark night".

Dr Yusanto called on "all the sons and daughters of Islam, both domestically and externally" to support the establishment of a Muslim state under the direction of a single religious leader.

"Sacrifice must be encouraged," he said, warning that Western capitalist countries would be sure to attack any emerging Islamic state.

"We will call on all of Islam to be ready for a jihad."

NSW Police Minister John Watkins told The Australian last night: "I would ask Philip Ruddock to look closely at what this group have said publicly today in the media. I don't know why there is not enough evidence for him to take immediate action."

Another speaker, one of Hizb ut-Tahrir's Australian leaders, Ashraf Doureihi, said Muslims should reject capitalism and embrace Islam. "We must make Islam the only reference point of Muslims," Mr Doureihi said, warning that every strata of Muslim society had been infiltrated with non-Muslim ideas.

However, conference spokesman Washim Doureihi said the work of Hizb ut-Tahrir was not to change the political nature of Australia. "It is because of Islam and my allegiance to Islam that I am responsible for ensuring to do what I can to protect the safety and security of all peoples in this country and beyond," he said.
