Joe was having an affair with a woman that worked for him. She was found murdered in his office. I am not sure whether she was pregnant or not, but he skated and it was swept under the rug. This is how they compromise people in every aspect of the media and government. They get the dirt or cause the dirt and then they own them.

It's a shame things went down like that for him. In Congress, he was one of the New Federalists, whose agenda was much like Ron's. He wanted to end the Department of Education, Energy, HUD, etc. He sponsored a bill to withdraw from the UN. He received several "Friend of the Taxpayer" awards.
