Some Democrats Said this about Ron

Got into a discussion with an old school mate, he is considered 'intelligent' - you know that whole deal, they study hard, play band, lack no street smarts etc.. (book smart)

Anyway, they were talking politics, or it got brought up some way.. this guy is doing accounting etc. Alas, he supports Obama ...

...He was going to leave, so shook his hand and said, "Don't worry mate, you'll eventually come round." lol..

Sounds like your friends need to "harden the F U"

You know the ironic thing about the Democrats pushing the racist label on Paul?

They are supporting Obama. A candidate that has a strong bond to Jeremiah Wright, who is unabashedly racist - or at least bigoted - than anything else. Those Democrats can sit down and be quiet about Ron.

It's the same type of smear campaign tactic taken right out of Karl Rove's playbook. Spread the lies enough - or at least plant the seed in their head about a lie - and the voters will take the bait.

Howard Dean, DNC chairman, recently also made some racist comments.

And the Dems whine and moan about the "politics of personal destruction" for Edwards, etc., etc., etc.. Hell, they invented the damned tactic.

Oh yeah, and the party of "Political Correctness", also.

Screw em, and I don't mean sexually.

The only way Hillary got as far as she did was pure unadulterated poor white trash democratic racists.
The only reason the democrats didn't tear RP to shreads was because he was a republican tearing into the republican establishment and that served their purpose.
If RP would have run as a democrat the party would hve torn him to bits far worse than the republican leadership did.

Yep, how dare Ron even question or challenge their divine Communist Manifesto plank sacred programs: The Federal Reserve AND the Income Tax.

Ron Paul is against affirmative action. He believes we are equal. Therefore, the law should equally apply to us all.

Ron Paul is against totalitarianism. This was the staple of the nazis.

:rolleyes:Clearly those democrats were being sarcastic.

I sware I hate these "modern" liberal democrats. More and more each day.

Sometimes I get the feeling they're worse the then everyday neo-con.

Nah, I'd say they're just being Democrats. :p

that is the first thing people always say to me in regards to ron paul. also, he hates gays!

but i've found in regards to people i know that i was easily able to counter it with common sense on his positions. i guess young people are easier to talk to though.

i can take on his abortion position.

his apparent disbelief in evolution is a little harder though .......

I was astonished when I learned Ron Paul didn't believe in evolution... I mean it's so obvious? But to my dismay... I'm starting to also not believe in evolution to a certain point. Yes organisms do change, but there's something magical about life and our reality. I don't believe it sprung up randomly from dirt, there's has to be a creator of the dirt and the perfect physics.

I think Ron shares this belief and maybe this is why.

FYI - he wasn't one of the guys that raised his hand when aksed if he did not believe in evolution. not to insult anyone that may believe in creationism (or "intelligent design"), but our guy is very intelligent.

Edit: did i miss something here, or has he actually said he doesn't believe in evolution?

yeah, there's an interview somewhere, it was a debate i believe where Paul said something to this effect when asked about evolution:

'it's a theory i don't subscribe'

In whatever TV debate it was that the "gotcha" moderator asked the evolution question and for a show of hands. None of the GOP folks raised their hands.

It's not that Ron Paul "doesn't beleive evolution". It's that the person who asked him the question asked if he thought he was positive if evolution is true. This is simply impossible anywhere in science, you can't be positive about anything and as a doctor Ron Paul understands this. That's why Mike Gravel's answer to the same question was the stupidest thing someone could say.

I was talking with some Democrats today. I said I supported Ron Paul, and they scolded me and said he was a Nazi and I shouldn't support him. They also said he was a racist. If anything, their beliefs are more Nazi like than Ron Paul's. What I am trying to understand is their context. They were CONVINCED of this. There is nothing Ron has ever said that has made me think either of those statements are true.

I had a similar conversation with some nice kids were going around trying to get people to register Democrat. I made sure and took up a good half hour or so of their time :D

First of all, I explained that Barak was too much of a war hawk. I explained how Obama and the other major candidates are all establishment candidates, and that any politician who does not go along with the establishment is sure to get smeared and ignored by the media. I assured them that Ron Paul is not a nazi, he wants to end the war on drugs, bring our troops home and stop the Federal Government from taking away our right to alternative medicines and (i.e. stevia). Our drug laws are the most racist laws we have on the books.

They asked what I thought about Kucinich, and I said he was a great guy and I respect that he stands up for the constitution and asks serious questions about 9/11 and crimes of our current administration. He is also a good example of someone the media likes to ignore/smear..

Then I explained how the Federal Reserve is really just the Office of Corporate Welfare, and how citizen welfare may help a few needy people on the bottom, but overall our system is very bad because it keeps the lowest wage earners from being able to support themselves properly due to cost of living increases. I explained how our government financial authorities lie about these increases by ignoring price increases in sectors in their inflation calculations, such as energy and housing.

One of them made it clear that she was a gay minority who believed that everyone in the world should have the right to medical abortions. I told her it is dangerous in any case for the Federal Government to make sweeping decisions in one area, because that means they can just as easily do it somewhere else and take away her rights. I also told her that if medical abortions were outlawed in certain areas by local governments, it would probably be a step forward for women because there are many natural abortives from other cultures that can be ingested and are very safe. This would make abortion cheaper and more accessible in the long run. She said that her relatives from South America told her about that, but she had never looked into it.

Democrats are very wary of our government because they believe it is controlled by Republicans. All you have to do is make them distrust the entire system as a whole and show them how it has been setup for the elite to win, and that the answer is freedom.. people can do it on their own much better than government can help them.
