Some Democrats Said this about Ron

I was talking with some Democrats today. I said I supported Ron Paul, and they scolded me and said he was a Nazi and I shouldn't support him. They also said he was a racist. If anything, their beliefs are more Nazi like than Ron Paul's. What I am trying to understand is their context. They were CONVINCED of this. There is nothing Ron has ever said that has made me think either of those statements are true.

All I can think of us is members of Stormfront supporting him. That and the fact that the ADL is none too enamored with him, because he wants to stop all foreign aid (including to Israel).

Think about it, he talked about asking Walter Williams, a black man, to be his VP. He is a student of Austrian economics as developed by Ludwig von Mises, a jew. And he backed Murray Sabrin, also a Jew.

These Democrats you talked to are unfortunately buying the intentional smearing of Dr. Paul.

What is that site?

These guys were very much into politics and into the democratic party at the local level. The one lady served on the school board and ran fund raisers for the party.

It really bothers me. I know it's not true but I have no clue where they got it from.

What is that site?

It attempts to come up with absurd and thus entertaining commentary on political news. Usually their stories aren't fact-based and searching the "Paultard" tag will give you a large repository of sentiments that are now generally accepted as true.

Unfortunately, the site has been cited by many in MSM and apparently is acceptable to be cited in Wikipedia... :(

I once came across one that told me of the RON PAUL concentration camp in Texas for all the illegal immigrants!? I mean WTF. There was a concerted effort of lies and misinfo on Dr. Paul no doubt. This girl actually believed this and had talked about it with several people she said.

No you must be mistaken, the mainstream media has nothing to do with propaganda, misinformation, disinformation or lies. They report the facts, and the facts only. There is no such thing as opinion in the news. It is always objective, always factual, and always truthful. To think otherwise means you must be some kind of loon conspiracy theorist or a kook, you probably believe in the move towards one world government as well.. SHEEZSH!!

;)

Idiots are everywhere, and a lot of them vote. :(

Australia has a prevalent myth of compulsory voting. If you enroll, you are entrapped. Fined etc. There is even a guy who goes to jail for 10 days each election, out of principle. :D People fail to realise if you never enroll, you never get bothered. And if you have enrolled, you can in fact do a 'donkey vote' or 'protest vote' - line them all out... technically, once you get marked off, you can take the ballot - walk outside and burn it. Hahah.. :D

I once heard a liberal/socialist fellow say that Paul was crazy, and then thirty seconds later he said he thinks Paul is secretly a democrat. This comment was on a college campus.

Because people are stupid and brainwashed. Anyone that says anything slightly politcally uncorrect is 'racist' and 'insane'. The Left is especially good at throwing around the racist word.

That and the fact that the ADL is none too enamored with him

Its clear who the ADL works for, no matter what liberty candidate comes along the ADL will oppose him. Doesn't matter, the ADL if full of stupid people that can't comprehend double standards. Ask them why the apartheid in South Africa should've ended while the Israeli apartheid still goes on.

Though Paul is unlikely to triumph in the primaries, it is worth taking stock not only of his actual positions, but more importantly the libertarian underpinnings that have wooed so many self-described leftists and progressives. Because at its core, the fetishism of individualism that underlies libertarianism leads to the denial of rights to the very people most radicals aim to champion-workers, immigrants, Blacks, women, gays, and any group that lacks the economic power to impose their individual rights on others.

A cursory look at Paul's positions, beyond his opposition to the war and the Patriot Act, would make any leftist cringe.

Put simply, he is a racist. Not the cross-burning, hood-wearing kind to be sure, but the flat Earth society brand that imagines a colorblind world where 500 years of colonial history and slavery are dismissed out of hand and institutional racism and policies under capitalism are imagined away.

fucking christ

Has anyone yet noticed Australia turning into a utopia or a political paradise on earth? ;)

:D

These people are so stupid. America owes its existence to colonialism. Otherwise it would be a bunch of Native American tribes going around the continent killing each other.

I was having a drink on the holidays, out at a student bar, having a great time... anyway; had a few. Got into a discussion with an old school mate, he is considered 'intelligent' - you know that whole deal, they study hard, play band, lack no street smarts etc.. (book smart)

Anyway, they were talking politics, or it got brought up some way.. this guy is doing accounting etc. Alas, he supports Obama - well, then I ask him; have you heard of Ron Paul?

"Yeah, he's a kook" "He wants to go back to the Gold standard"

- Probably not the smartest thing to say to me, after I've had a few beers. :D

Hahah anyway, the convo stays jovial, but eventually becomes a shouting match. LOL, it's hard to stay quite in the face of such ignorance.

- The Federal Reserve System, the central banks etc create the business cycle..

"No it doesn't. etc.. that's normal for Capitalism."

- But we don't have capitalism today, the very heart of our economic system is communistic

"He's a kook mate"

- What's so bad about the gold standard?

etc. etc... it went on.

Ended with me realizing we were practically shouting at eachother; and we weren't going to give in... He was going to leave, so shook his hand and said, "Don't worry mate, you'll eventually come round." lol..

Hahaha... Ok, no... but that's because we aren't exactly high on anyone's priority's list. Friend of mine, working within one of the main parties mentioned an observation to me the other day...

"It takes ALOT of work to destroy a country"

Like seriously... if the government (state definitely) was shut done tomorrow; in Aus anyway.. if no-one mentioned it; like the news.. nothing would really change.. lol It's a very comforting thought. :)

But yeah, I and a fellow aussie rpfer are working on achieving your comments. You will see soon. :D

Sounds like my brother. And of course he is an avid reader of "Counter Punch."

You're right that the Democratic Party is the Nazi Party. They turn more socialist every day. And let's also remember that they were the slavery party and segregation party... =o
