I don't know. Republicans Evangelicals seem to revel in bombing muslims.

Maybe so. But Santorum has a short fuse and it should be easy to draw him in to looking foolish and very un -presidential. Whether that works for some hard core evangelicals, who knows. It should put a stop to the more reasonable crowd from supporting him, though. Remember also that his support has been going down. There's a reason for that and I'm not sure an endorsement can turn that completely around.

Personally, I want to see RP get him. He's been so disrespectful to Ron and he sure has it coming.

Here's what I'd like to know (honestly!)

Does Santorum ever pray before events?

Has he EVER said on camera that he believes Jesus is his Lord & Savior and the only way into Heaven?

The first quote about the 150 leaders. Understand those 150 leaders are higher echelon leaders within this LARGE nationwide organization. Consider them like regional leaders who control a region within the U.S. Each regional leader will then converse with other ministers in their region to influence them to speak with influencial congregation members within each church. These congregation members are the ones that have "so to speak" one on one conversations with other church members to influence their vote.

The second quote about the law. Yes, they do risk tax-exempt status if church leaders publicly in sermon mention candidates by name. They can talk about issues without jeopardizing their status. Hence, the secretive one on talks amongst church members.

This same strategy is what propelled Santorum in Iowa. When it appeared no one was going to his campaign stops, behind the scenes this organization was assembling a GOTV to vote Santorum. They are very secretive about what they do and that's why it looks unusual when their chosen candidate polls low or has no huge crowds at speaking events. They don't want to blow their cover. You have to understand, this is a very powerful, well funded group in existance since the Carter years and have grown substantially ever since. Do not take this lightly.

With that said, I think you will see a repeat in SC, just like Iowa.

I doubt if they'll push frothy in my church as they have
yet to push any particular candidate, but if they do I'll be recording it.
And finding another church.
I'm not so much against them pushing a candidate
as long as the candidates are chosen according to their adherence to
Biblical principles as evidenced by how they've lived
their lives, not by what they may claim to support.
