Did anyone ever get ahold of a media outlet? Does anyone besides us even know it happened?
did anyone get any video from the bus?
What's the deal?

^^ THIS ^^

And, did anyone see the video of Blackwell's confrontation with "what's his name" of the Rules Committee? There was supposed to be video coming out.

Ya, but did ANYONE try and get this to CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, etc....?
This is the kind of news that NEEDS to be brought to the attention of voters so they know who they are dealing with and can vote accordingly.
Also, there should be CRIMINAL charges involved here somewhere.

I totally agree. But as usual the MSM is part of the problem.

Here is another mention of it.......

Where are the delegates who were on that bus? Did none of them try and get this out?

I get the feeling some cellphone video will surface here soon. And some journalists will dig deeper and report on it, but I'm afraid it will be too late to get out in front of the general public before the end of the convention. Which is when it would have it's greatest impact.

Sadly most Americans will shrug it off as what they have come to accept from politics and politicians. I think most people are conditioned to this shit and have become complacent.

Complacent? Hell, some of them endorse it. You should see the comments from my sister on FB. It blows me away. Border line, "They have to do it for our country" type shit.

We're looking for the actual video of the actual event. "Proof" if you will of what actually happened.

We might be looking at a case of people repeating the same rumor over and over. I'm not saying that's what it is, we want the video.

I think its even worse than that... IMO a lot of Republicans will think it was a good thing to keep away the trouble makers. You know, those crazy Ron Paul people trying to disrupt Romney's coronation.

I don't know what has happened to my country, but many will trade personal freedom for "peace and security". They do not understand that it is all false, and will one day come tumbling down on them.

Ya, I have heard from these types as well. They are much like those who think we must sacrifice our liberty for security. How do you get through to these people?

If I come across any other reports on the topic, I'll be sure to post them in this thread. It's eating at me as well.

The most important thing to do is to wreck the convention, especially Romney's speech and the balloon drop with the smiling candidates wives children. Make the pictures look awful.

Here is something from CNN but it's mentioned as an after thought to the rule change.......

Meanwhile, some committee members suggested meddling was at play. A bus full of Virginia delegates arrived at the committee meeting - after it had adjourned.

"The bus that was supposed to pick up the Virginia delegation arrived an hour later than it was supposed to," explained Virginia delegate Morton Blackwell, a prime opponent of Rule 16.

Blackwell continued: "And then when we went downtown, we went around the same series of blocks repeatedly – twice. And then the bus took out away from downtown, went about a mile and a half, and then did a u-turn and came back. And did another circuit, of the same place where we had been before. And at that point, the Virginia delegates demanded, 'Stop the bus. And we're going to walk.' And we did."

Mike Rothfeld, a Virginia delegate also on the bus, went further.

"They pushed us around for 45 minutes and then we missed the meeting," Rothfeld said.

"We were in the security perimeter, they pushed us out of it three separate times. They moved us around until the meeting was adjourned."

Sebern claimed the snafu was "deliberate."

Neither she nor the others recalling the story would say who they were directing their anger at. And none could provide proof to back up their claims.

Does she play sports? If so, pose a question to her in such a way that it is a similar scenario and see how she reacts.... then pull her in with the story of the bus. I try to use analogies as much as I can with such people, the conversation goes better that way.

Our current government (Goldman Sachs) controls the mains stream media... or is it the current main stream media(Goldman Sachs) has a hand in controlling our government? This will never be a news story for the masses on their Tel-lie-vision hypnosis box.

I wonder what the ratio was of the people who were apathetic to the people who really wanted to fight at the very beginning of the American Revolution. I'd say it might be close to what we have right now.

I've tried that with her, dang I love her, but she will use any excuse to defend "the way it is". If I give her an analogy of a game, she says, "but this is not a game, it's reality".
