I am in complete agreement. If you are in a solid blue state or red state which the results are a sure thing, I think it good and reasonable to vote third party this election. If either Trump or Hillary runs away with it in my state by election day, that is what I plan to do. If it is a nailbiter, I'm voting Trump for the reasons I have already explained.

Although I would never cast a vote for the man, I do hope he is elected for the comedic factor and to see how all the fervent trumpsters here react when he enacts his globalist, big-government, war-mongering policies. Although I imagine most of them would be getting exactly what they wanted.

I'm voting for him. I know I can't raise funds for him here or organize rallies and stuff, but I hope it's not against the site guidelines to at least admit the truth. Why is it so hard for anyone else to admit it? Clearly many want to see Hillary defeated. Clearly many like what Trump has to say. So why the reluctance to give him your vote in November? Or are you just reluctant to admit you will?

I think I am in such agreement with Rand Paul most of the times because we are both physicians. We come to understand that when the patient is dying in front of you, it is not the time to stand back but to get any tool available to save their life. Even if it means zapping them with megajoules of electricity or cutting open their chest. Is the therapy dangerous in itself? Yes, but sometimes it is through pain and destruction, such as in the surgical knife or the potent medicine, through which healing is made and life is restored.

When the patient is dying in front of you, figuring out better ways to prevent the patient from reaching that grave condition can be worked on tomorrow, when there is time. Today, we use the tools God gave us.

That is not why I say it, I'm actually not supporting his candidacy or voting for him - because he has way too many policies that I disagree with. I won't be aparty to electing someone to "lead" me that out of line with my principles.

But overall his rhetoric is better than Hillary, he is less corrupt than Hillary, the media constantly misrepresents him and his positions and the media sucks, the establishment is generally not supportive of him and the establishment sucks, he is a better parent and a better human being than Hillary, imo, and if someone has to win of the two I hope it's him, or at least I think we will be better off it is him.. but I also don't know that for certain. Trump's authoritarian tendencies could cause some serious trouble, potentially, but by my predictions I see more bad stuff coming out of a Hillary Presidency.

I have always found you to be one of the most clear thinking individuals on these forums. As usual I agree with you and your views. The only difference I have this time is that I am considering voting for Trump, but still undecided.

My preference is listed below in my signature. My preference for Trump over Clinton is simple. Deciding who to vote for is not so simple for me.

Normally I don't bother with the whole lesser of two evil nonsense. This time seems to be a unique situation, similar to when Perot was running, only this time the non-politician is actually in a position to win. I welcome the cracking of the system and the loss of power to the Clinton/Bush machine.

While I want Clinton to lose, I am not excited by the prospect of giving tacit approval of the system by voting for Trump.

I don't approve of Trump and his BIG GOVT schemes. He is a moderate/liberal Republican and not much different from Romney in my mind.

My votes against McCain and Romney in these last few elections were meant to punish the GOP and force them to offer us better choices. This time around I am not interested in punishing the GOP and I do want them to win. So I am torn. For the first time since I discovered I was a libertarian, I am undecided on who I want to vote for, if I vote at all. It sure is a shame that the Libertarian candidate sucks so bad.

Exactly my thoughts. This election is like the Perot moment, but this time with a real chance to do damage to the machine. Does it end with lollipops and gumdrops? No. But it at least averts a catastrophe which will leave this nation irreparably damaged if Hillary wins and elects the Supreme Court to be overwhelmingly liberal and progressives, who will continue to ignore the originalist and conservative upholding of the Constitution in order for political points. The bench is bad enough as it is now, imagine changing 3 or 4 of them for even worse ones.

This is the main reason I am considering voting for Trump. The supreme court will have the 4-4 tie broken by the next president I Clinton would be the absolute worst option for this.

Besides that it will be fun to watch the corrupt media freak out over Trump winning.
