Yeah there was a press statement earlier (just skimmed the headline so no details) where Romney was stating Santroum wasn't an option for VP.
I think what Romney is really looking for is anything that will engender some excitement about him in the party base and make him theoretically electable in the general

I think this was a calculated move by Romney to distance himself from Santorum. I think Ron or Rand is his VP pick.
It's not Christie for sure, Christie has no appeal to D and I in the general. The GOP will move to center before the general, you're seeing this already with feelers towards ending the Afghan war in the last 2 days.

Uh, no she doesn't. She's dumber than a box of rocks.
No way the GOP would nominate Palin at the top or bottom of the ticket in a theoretical brokered convention. She is toxic in the general election and a sure loss.
Sadly, many of the polls on this very site showed that over half the people here would vote for a Romney/Paul ticket, so looks like political tricks work, even on the "awakened" RP people.
Encouraging even one voter to vote for Romney, the worst warmonger running for office, by allowing his name on the same ballot as Romney would betray every principle that made me a Ron Paul supporter.
Ron Paul just plain can't endorse someone who is anti liberty, life (our young military who SUPPORTED Ron Paul with their time and dollars & the lives of innocents in unprovoked war), and justice (NDAA, ACTA, HR347).
In my opinion.
