so I wasn't going to donate today

It doesn't matter to me if Paul gets the nomination or runs third party. He's the only ambassador of liberty we have right now. We need him to at the very least to continue to spread the message. If we can show people considering running for office that if you're true to your principles and respect the Constitution and liberty, you will have a loyal and growing band of supporters across the nation.

because I don't have the money and i had a bad day at work, and i've been losing hope with all the crap happening with the election. but then I went on Paul's facebook page and saw the picture of him watching the moneybomb on his ipad with a look of hope, almost pleading with his followers to donate. then i saw how little had been donated compared to usual moneybombs and i noticed the name of the moneybomb and it hit me hard and reminded me what this is all about and all we've been through. i've been hoping so much that Paul will win, because we need him to reinstate our liberties, because they're being trashed and crossed-out by virtually everyone in power. Paul's kind is so rare, who knows if we'll have another like him in our lifetime? it took his kind to start the damn country, and declare that we have rights that no tyrant can take away. someone with power who does what he says he'll do is about the rarest trait when it comes to people, and he's counting on *us* and hoping we'll have *his* back in his efforts to do what so few have done.

so i guess the moral of the story is that some things are worth a whole lot more than having to give up a few conveniences to pay for them.

for those that haven't donated today, please go to his facebook page, look at the photo there, and ask yourself if you are willing to let this man down.

+rep for recognizing the importance of sacrificing for what is right.

do you not read the forums and news articles about RP controlling most of the caucus'? you should have learned by now to not trust the media and their blackout/marginalization.

I mean JESUS -- THEY Blacked Him Out and we gave money, THEY Slandered him a Racist, Unelectable, Isolationist and we gave money, THEY refused to cover the atrocities of voter fraud across the Nation and we gave money, THEY are trying to sell the idea that this is over and now, now we believe it?

I am not donating today....

I understand what you're saying, and we definitely need to support other smaller candidates, but it's still worth it to donate even if he won't get the nomination.

Paul gives other liberty candidates credibility and the confidence to run. If you don't market your ideas, no one will consume them. He's literally a walking advertisement for liberty. Without him still out there, the liberty candidates will suffer. What other national figure is going to sell the ideas of liberty?

I personally think he should campaign until the end of the convention just to prove that we were in it for the long haul, we are not going to give up and our vote is not for sale.

I've literally donated everything in my checking account (beyond the minimum to keep it open). He's been fighting for years, even before 2007 he'd been fighting for years. Remember when early in this cycle he said "I didn't know you were out there", do you remember how he said that? He's been fighting for liberty, for us for years, we have brothers and sisters fighting and dieing right now across the seas, we hear these things often but they are not rhetoric this is keenly and literally about our quality of life, as well as life and death for many thousands of individuals. I won't claim success is certain, but I will do everything in my power to be able to say (whatever the outcome) that I did not let this happen. I am humbled and grateful to know I am not alone in that.

Using the main ronpaul2012.com site will give you an option for PayPal after you click donate and fill in your information, that's how I donated today :)
