Does Ron still have a chance of persuading a lot of people to vote from on super tuesday?

OR

Are the American people to brainwashed, uninformed, or whatever other quality you give them, to vote for Ron Paul?

I hate that I have to defend myself on RON PAUL forums of all places, but, I'm not a troll. I really need to know if after all of everyone hard work and donations we'll continue to get 10% in primaries and end up losing.

Our support grows by the day. Realistically only about .5 of a percent have voted so far. Iowa and New Hampshire do NOT make up the rest of the country. We've still got 301 days till the election.

The race for the GOP nomination is LOST. Lets not put ourselves into a bubble.. this current GOP is hostile to Dr. Pauls platform. So in that sense it is lost..

I am realistic, but of course you will hear that we are all winners in our hearts,. that we are the future, and that the ideas of Dr. Paul will never die..

But for tangible results for the GOP win, it is a LOSS.

No one president has gotten 2nd or less in NH and won the nomination. Let alone 5th.

Ok... I'm asking whether Ron Paul has a chance to win the General Election. Not about whether we can still get the message out there by voting for congresspeople.

We lost the first two games in a season. That's it. We have maybe $15 million in the bank. We just have to hope Dr. Paul spends it wisely and hires some bona fide PR people, marketing people, organizers, etc. I think it's time to get serious. He's gotten 10% and 8% just by making some noise. Just by showing up with a blimp. If he starts to hire some real pros, he can double that.

I look at it this way.. maybe Ron has to be the Goldwater that prepares the way for Reagan. That means I still friggen push HARD for him this time around... I'd love to see Dr. Paul as POTUS, but even if I could look into the future and see that he didn't win this election, I would still go out and canvass.

Ron Paul is in for the long haul. Think of all the others that may drop out...and some of those guys will come to paul

That may be true, but personally I was hoping for 3rd place in NH. I thought that would have been a big victory. 5th place, not so much.

This is surely disappointing. We all need some kind of a boost in morale.

Well I guess its a good thing that february 5th is not far away, because I don't know how much longer I can support Ron Paul when it seems that he only has 10% support. I mean, wouldn't it be a waste to spend time persuading people to vote for a lost cause?

3rd place would have been great, but 5th in iowa and new hampshire? the odds do not look good at all... we will probably turn into a nader type of campaign from here on out.

If we lose, it's because we give up.

Honestly, the only reason Paul isn't higher in voting is because people DON'T KNOW HIS MESSAGE. They turn on the TV and choose between MCCAIN HUCKABEE ROMNEY RUDY ....all these mainstream media guys.

They see Paul as some crazy longshot guy who they don't even consider. Most people don't use the internet intensively. They don't see Paul as the real solution for all conservative issues.

WE NEED TO CHANGE THIS SOMEHOW. IF THE TRUE MESSAGE OF PAUL GOT OUT HE WOULD WIN!!

Take heart, doing great, keep waking the monkeys up; it's far from over.

You don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Any number of things could happen to propel Ron Paul to the top. Have the will to fight for survival. Never give in. Never give up. Carry proudly the torch of liberty. People will hear. They will join us. The movement grows stronger each day. The GOP nomination is a battle that has not yet been lost, in a war that is still being fought. Don't surrender this battle. Don't surrender the war.

We are not attempting to pick the winner of a hoarse race. We are molding the future of our country. Victory has not a date etched in stone, but it will come as surely as the sun will rise tomorrow.
