SNL has skit with Rand

My roomates have the hotel tv on and they are doing a skit about George Washington reincarnate (from a time machine). Rand is apparently in it. GW goes crazy after they bring him back to the future and Nancy Pelosi killed George Washington by beating him up LOL.


At the end of the skit after they killed GW they go to a video outside the capitol and the Union Jack was flying outside of it lol.

Thanks for the clip sharpsteve, but I'm kind of disappointed. What is the point of including Rand in a skit if you don't at least goof on his hair or his speech or his height or something like that? There was none of that in the sketch. It at least says something though about how popular he already is that he is one of three politicians they picked for that sketch, standing up there with Pelosi and Boehner. Still, why include him if you are not going to goof on him, there is plenty of material there. I was hoping for a better debut.

I thought it interesting that Washington comes to the future, doesn't recognize his country, tries to kill Boehner, and gets stabbed in the back by Pelosi.

I think although pointless they're "trying out" their Rand character probably for future material. He does look like him but they should play on the hair a bit more

The good news i suppose is they will feature more of "Senator Paul" after this debut run out, at the very least he is in the writers minds

Rand is now one of the politicians you think of when you say the word "Senator". I can't say that for either of my senators.
