Yes, we are still spending money in occupation. Osama was not meant to be caught. The Soviets lost 4836 troops from 1979-1989.
We have lost 419 in Afghanistan since 2001.

What I meant is with the Technology of today, Satellite Imaging, real time video/audio communication, laser guided missiles, etc.. etc.. Trying to fight a Guerilla War against an adversary with all of these technologies is a losing proposition in the end.
