Since Ron Paul will not run in Nov. can we support Chuck Baldwin on the grassroots?

As for intelligence, I've made a fair amount of money playing. Many have. It is a game of skill. Even if that weren't the case, I'd still believe we should have this right. I have no desire to be "protected" by a federal ban that nanny-stater big government statists like YOU want. Ron Paul wants this freedom as well.

You should vote for Baldwin. He's clearly your candidate.

Either way, baldwin supporters should be in the baldwin forum..... I think he is great as well as many other candidates BUT either way they have their own discussions in their own forums.

I myself am for baldwin, just like I am for any other candidate. We need a million ron paul candidates and I won't stop until that happens. Stop worrying about ONE presidential candidate and think of the bigger picture.

So many people are interested in winning THIS ELECTION but that is not the point of this revolution or any before it. The revolution is about educating the PEOPLE and until we do that we will never win no matter who our candidate is.

I'll be in MN at the convention trying to educate my fellow delegates/alternates (and party leadership) to support Liberty & RP (I still believe there's a slight, 1/10% chance we can get him nominated). I'll also be networking with these same people to see who we can work with for future elections and issue advocacy.

This particular section of the forum is for "Other Presidential Candidates" and we should have this discussion because it will prove useful in defining our positions.

We shouldn't be bashing anyone who is on par or VERY close to that of the constitution anyways. We need to educate those around us and come together to take back what is ours.

Why would he have to work out wording? If he supports this, he should say so. If not, he should say so as well. Jesse Ventura said it best....just say what you mean, then you don't have to remember what you said to avoid contradicting yourself.

I guess you don't even understand the game. Poker is played between other players. The house has no stake in the outcome. Rather, they collect a rake ($3) from each pot. That's how they make their money. They could care less who wins. I guess you didn't know that, given that you thought it was possible to win by getting money from the site itself.

Have you heard of professional poker players? Did you know there was such a thing? They do have a revenue source, which is the other players at the table.

And yes, I do make a decent amount. Unlike the other mythical winners you mention, I keep a log and I pay taxes on it.

Maybe you should learn before you advocate for big government protection.

I understand. However, we all know that candidates can differ from their party's platform. Ron Paul does, Bob Barr does, I don't see why Baldwin can't.

I am not opposed to the CP at all, I just consider right now this minute, Barr has the best chance to reach more people and we NEED this message to get out. That is not to say the CP can't grow. Yes. I have done much of this for Ron Paul except instead of attracting fundamentalists, I've had success with fellow Catholics. It is a segment that is often ignored by this movement sometimes. But it is the wrong mentality to think that those who are very religious should find comfort with the CP.
