Silly MSM/GOP still trying to win over RP voters to Romney - this time with "C" card...

Every time I read or hear this kind of crap, I want to start ranting and raving as if I'm losing my identity with my fellow man. Fortunately I have you guys to thank for bringing me back to my senses when I am comforted by your like minded thoughts.

It almost makes me want to vote for Obama, just to spite these people.

Makes me wanna say to them:

My vote is my vote, bitches. Get that through your head. What are you gonna do if I vote for Obama? Go write more articles? Whine? Complain? Fuss about how third parties can't accomplish anything but help the other side?

I won't vote for Obama, of course. But these guys are really gonna push me to that point as close as possible.

Every time I hear some Romney apologist say why we "must defeat Obama", it makes me hope Obama wins. Every time I hear some Obama apologist say why we "must defeat Romney", it makes me hope Romney wins. I equally detest both side. Since both Obama and Romney support garbage like the NDAA, what exactly is the constitutional difference?

These Republicans are just like Democrats. They don't think actions have consequences and they feel entitled to everything; like my vote. Romney didn't earn my vote so he won't get it. Anyone who watched or read Mitt's foreign policy speech knows that he will be Bush on steroids. There is no freaking way that Romney would ever be an option for me.

But neither the Libertarian ballot box nor the write-in protest vote will provide a victory to either gentleman. It’s high time Paul and Johnson admit that the very constitution they so passionately defend may not be worth the paper it is printed on if their loitering helps Obama’s re-election.

Remember folks, don't defend the constitution by holding candidates accountable to the constitution, but rather defend the constitution by obsessing over comparing candidates to each other.

If you truly want to defend the constitution, remove it from the equation. Got it.

I'll follow that example and defend the GOP candidate by ignoring him.:)

Obama = horrid domestic policy and massive increase in debt
Romney = horrid foreign policy and massive increase in debt

I'd rather see Obama be left holding the bag when the economy goes to hell.

The one area that gives me serious pause is that one of these guys will probably nominate a supreme court judge or three. I'm kind of scared of who either of them would nominate, but Romney might be slightly better. Does anyone know which SC justices are due to retire in the next 4 years and which way they lean? Right now we have a 50/50 split in the court and that balance going either way could be scary!

More MSM satire. Love watching them try to kiss up while talking shit in their neocon circles.

They keep referring to last weeks debate as evidence that there is some huge difference between Romney and Obama and between Democrats and Republicans. What they don't mention is a whole host of issues that they agree on in part or, entirely. When they agree, those issues become non isssues. NDAA wasn't mentioned. Our membershp in the UN and, going to war to enforce their resolutions wasn't mentioned. Congressional requirement for declarations of war wasn't mentioned. NAFTA, CAFTA, SPP weren't mentioned. The IMF and WTO weren't mentioned. The war on (some) drugs wasn't mentioned. Military drones flying over us wasn't mentioned. Intervenionist foreign policy wasn't mentioned. The Federal Reserve creating money out of thin air and charging us interest wasn't mentioned.

NONE of those issues will make it to the debates and if they do, the corporate controlled candidates will only disagree in degreee but not policy.

The first debate was supposed to be "domestic issues" only. Plenty wasn't addressed and of course both candidates were full of shit but there is a foreign policy debate later this month.

True that but extra-natonal trade agreements effect our domestic policies every day because they not only effect our economy but our level of freedom as well. NDAA is a domestic policy and of course that wasn't mentioned. The war on some drugs wasn't mentioned either. The IRS wasn't mentioned. Military drones wasn't mentioned. All domestic that they both agree on

I defend the Constitution. That is WHY Romney and Obama can go to hell.

God could part the clouds and tell these people unequivocally, "If Romney or Obama wins, your planet is doomed, DOOMED!" and they'd still reply, "But it's a two party system! They're the only ones who can win!" They simply cannot comprehend that voting for one of those two is directly contributing to the problem and perpetuating the inability of third party candidates to win. Not only have they not gotten to the point of, "I've had enough of this crap," they're still making an active effort to beg for more of the same and hold back anyone who's sick of it.

Gary Johnson will not win the Presidency this year, but if more people vote third party each year, the tides will slowly turn until eventually, someday, this abysmal voting system briefly destabilizes enough for someone else to take the Presidency for once. That won't be enough to turn the country around all by itself, but it's something at least, and it can only happen if more people wake up every year and decide to stop contributing to the problem. I mean, sure, a two-party system is inherent to plurality voting and will always assert/reassert itself under those rules, and the overwhelming number of short-sighted people behave exactly as they would be expected to under that system...but their short-sightedness is still no less infuriating. No matter how much the system incentivizes their behavior, they still deserve to be judged and ridiculed mercilessly for it until benevolent space aliens finally take pity and gift us with the miracle cure for self-defeating stupidity (preferably in grape-flavored liquid form like Dimetapp).
