Sign Petition For LP To Remove Bob Barr!

The Green Party did not want Nader as their candidate. They had a falling out with him after the 2004 Presidential Election. For some reason some people in the Green Party think that Nader should have either not campaigned hard in certain states or dropped out alltogether because of Kerry. They did not want Bush in the Whitehouse for a second term and blame Nader for this because of his refusal to "play it safe."

I think they got the point, they've been disabling commenting on the Barr website and also removing some of the more offensive articles they posted. They're backtracking quickly, but I doubt they'll have the humility to actually apologize.

Which is yet another reason that the Green Party is a joke. No group that actually believed in what they were selling would ever "play it safe."

If you live in COLORADO and you want to send a POWERFUL MESSAGE to the COLP/NLP, then please post here or im me in rpforums.
I have talked to the head of the COLP and he told me that every email would be sent to the leaders in colorado and national(UNFILTERED), so if your frustrated with the lp and barr,then this is our way to be HEARD AND SPEAK UP .

Bob Barr's track record of supporting the War in Iraq, the Patriot Act, and the War on Drugs should have been enough to prevent him from obtaining the LP nomination. But he was nominated anyway. However, his recent actions and statements have proven beyond any doubt he does not deserve to be the Libertarian candidate for president.

you do know that Bob Barr has acknowledged these as MISTAKES! He was naive, and is now aware.

He changed. He had an 'epiphany' - which is why he changed to the LP!

He currently does not support any of those stances. Why are you putting somebody down for seeing the light? His current views are exactly what we are looking for.

Why Menthol? Why not vote for just another candidate? Surely you can't hate Nader or Baldwin nearly as much as you hate Barr right? Surely your high expectations can find other candidates to chastise?

Why not say this about any other candidate, looking specifically at the most important aspect of an election - the candidates actual platforms.
Barr's platform is still better than the other candidates right? Sure it might not be ideal, but hes not going to win anyways. Barr was (before all the drama), an ideal candidate to support for those looking to break the two party monopoly via protest vote.

The "freedom movement" is not going to get a candidate in the white house in 2008 no matter if we can get Spiderman on the ballots and in the debates. Its funny your so emotionally invested in the 2008 election, and so unaware of the concept of a protest vote.
