I allowed my membership to expire after they nominated Bob Barr. I knew from the get go he wasnt what he is now claiming to be. I'll still vote Libertarian at the local level but I've pretty much lost faith in the National party. They seem to have forgone thier "party of principal" in order to get a guy with some name recognition.

The LP has never been the same since the neocons took it over and gutted the platform.
