If you voted no, please explain why no.

I voted yes.

It's real simple. The economy is headed into the crapper, it's the #1 issue Americans are concerned about, the Fed just cut interest rates again, and where's Ron Paul?

He's the only presidential candidate that PREDICTED this catastrophe and understands the situation, and this is his big opportunity to capitalize on it. Shouldn't he be doing a media blitz (press release, talk shows, etc.) with an "I told you so" and "here's what we need to do" message?

Get in front of this Ron!

Ron Paul needs to bring this up sometime soon. People are worried and a recession is upon us. Ron Paul knows how we caused this and what to do about it, and that's what the world needs to hear right now.

Ron Paul needs another "educating the canidates" news conference!
Where he gives the canidates more reading material on the economie to read! Even the slow readers who have not yet completeded the last asignment!

Yes...but

I am an economist and have spent 18 years working with the "public" in regards to investing etc etc. If there is one thing I learned early in my career is that you need to speak in language the "public" understands.

Now I agree 100% with Dr. Pauls views and solutions to our economic woes, but he has a tendency to speak above most peoples understanding. Now please dont take this as I mean he does this on purpose, but it is very easy for someone with Dr. Pauls acumen to blow right by someone in a conversation and lose them very quick.

Analogies work best, he has used them in the past and I HOPE AND PRAY he uses them over and over again leading up to Super Tuesday.

IF he speaks in terms most America can understand he will gain a ton of votes, if any of the other candidates try and challenge him, he will sweep the floor with them.

However, keep in mind, that all the other candidates speak in sound bites, and say things that (unfortunately) Dumbed down America responds to.

Americans have been CONDITIONED to believe certain things like we need the IRS, we need the Federal Reserve, we are not in a recession. I would bet 99% of Americans have no idea who Von Mises is or that the Federal Reserve is a central Bank and NOT a Government Body.

I wish him the Best of Luck, the economy is the #1 reason I am voting for RP...

Ron Paul should always back up his outrageous statements (such as getting rid of the IRS) with clear reasons as to why this is possible.

Mentions of Austrian Economics and The Von Mises institute baffled me initially. Most people don't have a clue about this stuff.

Ron Paul's economic and spending policies are the #1 reason I support him. I really think any other candidate will continue deficit spending (on the Republican side) or get us locked into an expensive socialist program (on the Democrat side).
