Should Ron be doing all this running around in AZ and Michigan?

Seems like it doesn't matter, much the polling is similar in all 3 states. 3rd or 4th. Spread it around and hope for the best.

I think it's good for him to be seen everywhere, if possible... I'm sure he'll be back in Washington, but there's a lot at stake on Super Tuesday, not only Washington... And maybe if he's seeing the polling indicating that WA isn't his for the taking, he's trying to hedge his bets and make appearances across the board -- not a bad strategy.

Doing anything but campaigning for 1st place in Washington is stupid. Paul needs to spend all of his time in Washington and secure FIRST place. While being perceived as "ignoring" states is bad, being perceived as incapable of winning is even worse.

I think it is fine. He is spending time in MI to win delegates. It is getting him MSM coverage. He needs to spend some time in AZ, anyway, because of the debate. WA is a caucus state, and in caucus states visiting is perhaps less useful, as it is move of a GOTV thing.

That's what I thought.

Given our track record so far in caucus states, it's not too good to place all the chips in one basket.

Not saying I disagree, but it really seemed like his visits made a difference in Maine. I personally think we need to be seriously zeroing in on Washington cuz we really, really need a win. Especially before super tuesday.

it would've been nice if they hadn't canceled the rally at asu. he would've made a great showing instead of doing the breakfast/lunch fundraising. guess i won't be seeing dr paul again like i did last campaign. :(

Winning is not a good track record?

He's where he can gain more delegates, not win straw polls.

Or should he be in WA non-stop until they have their caucus?

It seems as though it wouldn't matter until Santorum falls. I feel as though there is nothing he can do about right now.

That being said, If I were him, I would focus on a few states rather than one. Again, it's all about delegates.

The delegate talk is silly. After April 1st they won't matter one bit if he can't win big states with winner take all primaries. There's no path to the nomination that doesn't include them.

THIS.

Although I could be understanding of a few stops in ND and ID, and perhaps one in a populated area of Alaska if time allows.

Unless there is a brokered convention, then those WTA delegates could vote elsewhere later down the road. At this point, it's a non-issue, Paul's focus should be on winning a state as soon as possible. Come April, he should try to make stops in every state with a contest remaining to boost the 'delegates for Paul' movement.

The DEBATE is in Arizona, he is doing a couple of fundraising events the day of the event then is stopping in at the 'debate watch party' for the grass roots. This is not a major campaign delay. This is the last debate before Super Tuesday.

Michigan Ron can win delegates. But note he went to Washington early, and is GOING BACK for the actual caucuses. He will be there in Seattle on the third. I'm hoping he will speak at some caucuses.
