Rand will support the nominee, anybody but Clinton
He won't support Trump, and rightly so.
Rand will support the nominee, anybody but Clinton
To elaborate on that:
http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-polls-leads-florida-michigan-ohio-2016-3
If you take the results from states that have already voted, and assume upcoming states vote as indicated above, Trump would have 647 delegates on March 15 (52%).
I used this delegate allocation tool.
EDIT: Well, this may have to be revised. Looks like the polls in Kansas were way off, like 30+ points off.
Having said the above...
He would still be in the race, had he done what he needs to do now and NOT endorsed Romney over his dad in 2012.
Reality disagrees with that poll. Trump is down 25% not up 10% in Kansas. This is even after he skipped CPAC to "campaign" in Kansas.

Don't bring that up right now. I try to suppress that memory. I don't know if I will ever get over it, as hard as I try.

Honestly, I think Rand should endorse Cruz.
LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul issued the following statement to supporters and the general public concerning the continuation of his historic bid for the GOP nomination.
The statement tees up forthcoming information the campaign will release concerning its fruitful delegate-attainment strategy still occurring at delegate-selection events such as state conventions ahead of the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
Below please find comments from Congressman Paul:
“As I reflect on our 2012 Presidential campaign, I am humbled by the supporters who have worked so hard and sacrificed so much. And I am so proud of what we have accomplished. We will not stop until we have restored what once made America the greatest country in human history.
“This campaign fought hard and won electoral success that the talking heads and pundits never thought possible. But, this campaign is also about more than just the 2012 election. It has been part of a quest I began 40 years ago and that so many have joined. It is about the campaign for Liberty, which has taken a tremendous leap forward in this election and will continue to grow stronger in the future until we finally win.
“Our campaign will continue to work in the state convention process. We will continue to take leadership positions, win delegates, and carry a strong message to the Republican National Convention that Liberty is the way of the future.
“Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted. Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have. I encourage all supporters of Liberty to make sure you get to the polls and make your voices heard, particularly in the local, state, and Congressional elections, where so many defenders of Freedom are fighting and need your support.
“I hope all supporters of Liberty will remain deeply involved – become delegates, win office, and take leadership positions. I will be right there with you. In the coming days, my campaign leadership will lay out to you our delegate strategy and what you can do to help, so please stay tuned.
For Liberty,
Ron Paul.”

Dear XXXXXX,
So what’s wrong with limited constitutional government? What’s wrong with restoring our country to its founding principles?
What’s the matter with fighting for a renewed respect for free markets, sound money, individual liberty, and an America-first foreign policy?
In my book, absolutely nothing.
You and I remember the backlash from the Republican “old guard” who didn’t like my father rocking their boat when he ran for the presidency in 2008.
Well, that 2008 presidential run helped launch the Tea Party – not to mention my victorious campaign for the U.S. Senate in 2010.
As for the fruits of Ron Paul’s 2012 run for the White House?
Well, they’re being determined right now.
That’s why I hope you’ll contribute as generously as you can to tomorrow’s Rise for Liberty Money Bomb.
This will likely be the last Money Bomb of my father's campaign, so I'm really counting on your help.
Just visit www.ronpaul2012.com to make a contribution.
You see, wonderful folks like you from all over the country are influencing the Republican Party, gaining positions, shifting the debate in Washington, D.C., and charting a wonderful new course for our country.
Of course, some establishment types turn up their nose at folks like you and me.
They say we’re crashing their party.
Well, I say they’re wrecking our country – and it’s time for it stop.
If you can give generously to the Rise for Liberty Money Bomb, your contribution will help the Ron Paul campaign finish what they started.
You see, the Minnesota State Convention is this weekend. More are soon to follow.
At each convention, there are new opportunities for true constitutionalists to gain a foothold within state Republican Parties.
And each national delegate elected will help bring the national Republican Party back to its fiscally-conservative, limited government roots.
I truly believe the liberty movement is the future of the Republican Party.
Of course, turning our country around won’t happen overnight.
But you and I are laying the foundation. We’re building.
And you and I will make an incredible impact both in Tampa and beyond.
So please, if you possibly can, make a generous contribution to this final Rise for Liberty Money Bomb.
As I mentioned, this will likely be the last Money Bomb of this campaign.
Every dollar you give will make a tremendous difference.
For Liberty,

Rand Paul
P.S. The liberty movement is the future of our country.
But our job isn’t over yet.
So please help the Ron Paul campaign continue to make an impact for the principles you and I hold dear by making a generous contribution to the Rise for Liberty Money Bomb taking place tomorrow.
Every dollar you can give will help the campaign take over more key positions within the Republican Party and send new delegates to Tampa, which will help liberty candidates tremendously in the future.
Dear XXXXXX,
Yesterday afternoon, Minnesota was added to the list of Ron Paul wins with a stunning victory.
Out of the 40 national delegates Minnesota will send to the Tampa, Florida Republican National Convention in August, a whopping 32 are Ron Paul supporters!
It was incredible.
But the truth is, we're not done yet!
That's why, if you haven’t yet given to what is likely the final money bomb of Ron Paul's political career, hope you will contribute as generously as you can IMMEDIATELY.
You see, there are still state conventions in Iowa, Washington, Missouri, and elsewhere where we’re working feverishly to pick up new delegate spots and take over key positions within the Republican Party.
These final battles are critical to our R3VOLUTION.
Each victory not only means you and I will have greater influence on the Republican Party, but it also sends a loud and clear message that is being heard all over the country . . .
You and I are not going away – not until free markets, sound money, and respect for individual liberty are finally restored in America.
That’s always been what this campaign is all about.
So please, if you haven't yet given, please contribute as generously as you can right away!
For Liberty,

P.S. If you haven’t yet given to what is likely the final money bomb of Ron Paul's political career, I hope you will contribute as generously as you can IMMEDIATELY.
There are still several critical fights going on throughout the country.
And each victory brings us one step closer to restoring sound money, free markets, and respect for individual liberty in America.

He would still be in the race, had he done what he needs to do now and NOT endorsed Romney over his dad in 2012.
No need to Nelson me bro.
I wasn't hoping Trump would win, just predicting it based on the polls.
I hope he gets 0% in every county from here on out.
My bad but the meme directed to the Trumpanzees
What the heck. This is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen. Gowdy hates Trump. Christie is already tapped for AG. Rand as State? LOLwutI would like to see Rand in a high office position. I think trump wants Trey Gowdy for attorney general. It would be cool to have Rand as Sec of State. All while Hillary rots in jail. Rand is too valuable to be a sitting duck in Kentucky for the next 4 years.
Discuss.
Hed be a fool not to. They are good friends and have had each others backs. Carson also I think makes a great VP candidate. The VP position is almost worthless and its perfect for someone to fall asleep in. Not to mention, it will ensure no one tries to shoot Trump. Hopefully he doesnt become another Stockdale.I'm much more interested to see if Carson endorses Trump.
