sh** getting rowdy! #OccupyWallStreet

Standing in traffic on the Brooklyn bridge is not no reason. You should be arrested for that.

Involvement in this is going to be toxic in a mainstream GOP primary.

Actually, it's proven through studies that stopping the flow of traffic.. be it vehicles, to money.. is the best and most effective form of protest.

We really should get some people to pass out Black THIS Out postcards here!

Im rather surprised at the collectivism displayed in this thread by members here that allegedly abhor collectivism. Do you folks really believe that everyone protesting is a Marxist? If so, you've fallen for the same type of propaganda that claims all G20 protestors are "anarchists". Media inspired narratives with an agenda of continuing to pit the citizens against each other, instead of the citizens against the elite that's fucking us all over. Several friends of mine attended a local Occupy Wall Street rally here in Charlotte today. None of them are Marxists so stop lumping everyone together. Most are either already Paul supporters or at least like him.

fire'em up to vote for RP.....that is what we need. more of us, then the GOP combined. simple numbers game....(complex numbers game really)

Jesus Christ some of you people are paranoid. I'm going to be at these protests next week passing out Ron Paul literature.

When are you going? I am off on Thursday and thinking of going...

Sounds good to me...No better place to educate for financial freedom than a conglomeration of people fed up with our economic system.

All glommed together in one place.

You guys are funny, hey wake up call.

All New Yorkers are not Communists

There is a core 200 or 300 protesters down there that are dedicated to sleeping there etc. However most of the people that are curious about what is going on at Liberty Plaza show up on the weekends or after work during the week to see what is going on. Those are the people we should be spreading the message of liberty to, some of you maybe right yes possibly some members of the core group have a certain political persuasion that would be challenging to break through, but most of the people that show up down there do not. They are going to be open minded and accept there is a problem but not knowing what the solution is.

I can tell you from first hand experience that workers down in wall street are starting to talk about these protesters in their offices. They sometimes make fun of the protesters but on the whole they agree that there is a problem although uncertain what the solution is or how it can come about. We need to be a part of that discussion because those that will learn about Ron Paul and agree with his views and solutions to the problem will have the monetary capability of being able to donate to his campaign and future liberty candidate campaigns. Why do you think Ron Paul makes stops in blue states such as CA, NY and NJ? $$$$$$$$ A large portion of his donations come from the most affluent states in America and to not tap into avenues of recruiting more donors is foolish.

Amazing how the liberty lovers are really just into pinning labels on everyone who isn't them.

Does anyone think a President Ron Paul would order the media to black out protests and otherwise ignore them, much less piss on the folks protesting because it might hurt his standing in some poll if he addressed the situation?

Wall Street is guilty of breaking every law in all 50 states regulating mortgage fraud and used the federal government to block all 50 states investigations into that fraud. The result was a meltdown of the entire globes economies. The perps lied to Congress. The Fed lied to Congress. Government officials lied to Congress. Trillions of taxpayer dollars were illegally funneled into these criminal's hands in the aftermath, which they divvied up as bonuses.

You think anyone who sees that for what it is and decides to protest should be a member of a religion you like before he/she has the right to protest?

This thing is not going away. As it grows, anyone who waits until they have no choice but to address it will be seen for what he/she is; a Johnny-come-lately who's just jumping on the bandwagon, regardless of which side he/she falls on.

I would love to see RP give a speech promising that the 1st thing he'd do as POTUS is instruct his Justice department to prosecute any and all financial fraud because without enforcing the rule of law we have no government at all and our system isn't capitalism, it's gangster's paradise.

I would remind the protesters that while folks like Michael Moore love to yell "Down with Capitalism!", they always seem to fail to mention that it was Capitalism that made them rich.

I would mention that the Federal reserve operates outside of Capitalism, outside of Congress, outside of the Supreme Court and with no oversight from anyone, anywhere, and that it was Alan Greenspan and the Fed that facilitated the housing bubble, phony bond ratings, complete lack of oversight of the derivatives markets and stifling of all pertinent oversight agencies. And, it was then the same Fed that facilitated the bailouts, multi-trillion dollar loans a 0% to "we aren't telling you to who" and multi-trillion dollar deficits by stealing middle class American's life savings through inflation.

Like danno suggested, folks who've joined this forum a week ago are acting as self-appointed campaign manager, living the wet dream that kissing the GOP arms dealers asses will somehow turn them to vote for Ron Paul by Super Tuesday while calling the participants in the first serious protest in America since Vietnam [insert derogatory label here]. F^^k me, is anyone really that stupid?

Americans of voting age are what we need. The deadline for R registration in NY is in 2 weeks and NY isn't a crossover state.

No politician will support the protesters' right to protest and publicly agree that they've had their futures stolen by WS greed with not a single Grand Jury, allegation, arrest, trial or prosecution amidst the ocean of criminal evidence because they're all scared to death of their Wall Street Lords.

At the SC debate, May 2007, when Ron said they hate us because we've been bombing them for 10 years and Giuliani demanded an apology and all the arms dealers burst into applause, we small group of RP supporters gasped. It seemed an instant disaster. It wasn't. RP met the problem head on against all political logic and it was like lighting a lift off rocket under his campaign.

I'm not going to say anything more on this subject. You experts have at it. But, once you perfect Republican wannabes have chased off the truthers, birthers, Marxists, neocons, liberals, Hispanics or what the fuck ever groups... who's left to vote for Ron Paul? You and Karl Rove?

Bosso

I just sent out a Meetup suggestion for the NYC END THE FED Meetup... Lets get a couple of dozen of people down there in END THE FED gear and pass out literature about the Federal Reserve Bank.

Then there are these people.

Actually this video proves what I've been saying. These people know something is wrong, but don't fully grasp what is happening. The woman at the end turned away because she realized Adam completely destroyed everything she thought she knew as truth. She was embarrassed. I couldn't hear what she said at the end, but that's what she was feeling.

He planted a lot of seeds in the people he talked to and those around him listening.

nicely done, SOME of these people can and will vote for freedom if it is presented properly. ignite the brushfires folks!! now is the time! Don't waste time with the one that don't want to listen, move on to the fertile minds

that guy has no idea what he advocates saying "building coalitions"........makes me sick.We cannot be diverted into the mindless grind of lemming chants. the occupywallstreet is a diversion of agitated citizens, directed towards capitalism and with marxist values.

Anyone who wants Lloyd Blankfein and Hank Paulson to be in assfuck prison can join my fucking coalition anytime.

Maybe we should bring them some food and some direction. We will look compassionate without really protesting. And they will be more willing to listen to us if we bring food and bandages...

Just a suggestion since they're probably not eating over there. We can go under an unofficial Ron Paul banner.

Good idea. Granola bars. What else?

I agree that going down there with 'Ron Paul for President' banners might not work....

why not? They're obviously disillusioned with Obozo and they're not going to vote for any corporate GOP'er. Their only choices are RP or stay at home.

Yeah, i don't know. Maybe eventually. I would start a bit more subtler, under the END THE FED banner first. Of course, I'll be wearing my 'I Support Ron Paul' shirt, but it shouldn't be about one person, but about the people versus the banks.
