Serious Question: Do You Think This Forum Is Being Watched By Our Government?

what are you afraid of if you're not doing anything illegal?

What does legality have to do with anything, per se? Carrying a gun in NYC is illegal. Does that make doing so worthy of the specified punishment?

anybody who brags about his illegal behavior deserves to be harassed.

Spoken as a true statist.

when you post something, your ISP sends that information to ronpaulforums.com and stores your IP, a number assigned to you by your ISP. that number can be associated to your house, and there is a log which stores the time at which an IP sent information, so the government could look at the posting time on a thread page and use that information. they would probably start by looking for the incoming information to RonPaulForums.com, which is of course also stored by the ISPs.

the way to hide yourself is to have the information sent to some computer in saudi arabia so that they can send your information to rpf. see http://www.hidemyass.com/.

good point.

I never stored ANY information about where any of my customers went on the internet. Not to say that it isnt possible, at any point between the connection between the customers computer and what ever server they are trying to get to, it gets routed through a thousand different routers, and any one of those could be comprimised.

Constitution is Law. We are following the Law. If a force takes any action against us that is not stated in the Constitution. Then the Constitution states that it is the state and people who hold that power. We are speaking and even though they disregard the Constitution we will wait to enact the main an first law of our Union. The Declaration of Independence. Creator help us!

Creator help us? Puhleaze! The only thing this so called creator is good for is sitting back and watching us throw away what we have. It is our Right and Responsibility to fight for what we believe in. This creator isnt gonna do it for us.

This forum is 100% on the radar given its association with "Ron Paul" and "Liberty."

So what. I hope that our fellow citizens working for these agencies whether out of Virginia/DC or the SPLC down in Alabama "monitoring extremism" about discussions of moneybombs and health freedom actually learn something.

Don't live in fear and paranoia. Our forum guidelines already prohibit any statutorily illegal stuff. Maybe us bitching about them monitoring our GOTV and fundraising activities as opposed to monitoring actual terrorists trying to kill people will be a wake-up call to thoughtful employees earning a paycheck by surfing the internet and taking notes.

Good point, also I bet there are many powerful liberty allies within the government as well.

Why should the government care what we are saying on this forum. It is all talk anyway. Jibberish. It's not like we are planning something illegal and discussing it on the forum. Our government officials love us talking on the forum. That way they know we aren't really spending our time with subversive activities. That way they know we are involved in the very institutions they control. That way the institutions they control are being promoted. That is beneficial to them. To us, we get to be entertained by reading our own thoughts and those of other members. Who really benefits from this forum?

Government cares about everything that can be dangerous for it. Such forums are the best places to find, track and get rid of all dissidents

We already know the government is surfing these forums. Josh posted the email addresses and user names of two users from Homeland Security. Neither name had a single post, but had signed up to access the hidden forums. This was way back in late 07/early 08. The thread is now deleted, I'm sure, because it caused a big ole ruckus on these forums.

So we know that the government has been browsing these forums for at least 2 years.

Would you rather try to use your freedom of speech now, or try later when you may not have it anymore?

That would be the correct agency that would be assigned to watch us.
