Senators Lindsey Graham and Mike Lee could stand up for Trump in the final election battle?

LOL... Lindsey Graham is about the worst of the bunch. Hell, I would've happily given up the Senate just to get rid of him. Same thing with Loeffler and Perdue at this point. We'll never primary them. Incumbents just don't lose their primaries. Better to have a 50/50 Senate and lose a couple battles so that we can have a chance at getting a real conservative like Matt Gurtler in one of those seats.

Avoiding pain and misery is not melodrama.

Of course, you and your neurotic ilk are suicidal and love misery.

.

Since Trump's inauguration Graham has been hands down his most loyal ally in the Senate.

But I agree that now that Trump lost Graham has no more incentive to keep that up.

EM.

Tend to agree, chances were slim for any Senate coup to begin with and getting slimmer by the hour.

Lindsey's pro Trump shift was so sharp that Biden called him a "personal disappointment" recently, they used to be friends apparently before Trump happened.

I seriously doubt Lindsey Graham will do anything. That guys dirt is up there with the dirtiest of the dirty. Probably hangs out with Pelosi in his off time. Graham as an absolute SNAKE. Do not trust that guy as far as you can throw him.

EM.

He spent Christmas with Prez Trump:

You can be sure Graham made tens and tens of millions on the corruption in the Trump administration.

Conservatives turned a blind eye to everything the last 4 years.

Some Republicans plan to challenge Biden's Electoral College victory

By Jeremy Herb, CNN

A group of House Republicans is preparing to object, and they need at least one senator to join them to force the chambers to vote on the matter. While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has privately urged Senate Republicans to steer clear, several senators have declined to rule out taking part, and incoming GOP Sen.-elect Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has left open the possibility he will join the effort.

My guess has turned out to be wrong again, ZOA supported "boots on the ground" Syria intervention championing 'Lyin Ted' is not only on board but is leading a group of Senators behind him. This is another major coup:

GOP senators, led by Cruz, to object to Electoral College certification, demand emergency audit

The lawmakers call for an electoral commission to be established to audit results.

By Adam Shaw | Fox News

A group of GOP senators led by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will object to the Jan. 6 certification of the presidential election results next week unless there is an emergency 10-day audit of the results by an electoral commission.
Cruz and the other senators claim the Nov. 3 election "featured unprecedented allegations of voter fraud and illegal conduct."
Joining Cruz are Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis.; James Lankford, R-Okla.; Steve Daines, R-Mont.; John Kennedy, R-La.; Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Mike Braun, R-Ind.; as well as Sens.-elect Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo.; Roger Marshall, R-Kansas; Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., and Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala.
Their effort is separate from one announced by Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., who said this week that he will object to what he claims was the failure of some states -- most notably Pennsylvania -- to follow their own election laws.

"Voter fraud has posed a persistent challenge in our elections, although its breadth and scope are disputed," the lawmakers said Saturday in a statement. "By any measure, the allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes."
While the Trump campaign has challenged the results in dozens of lawsuits, judges in multiple states have shot them down. Attorney General William Barr told The Associated Press last month that "to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election."
A source familiar with the effort by the GOP senators told Fox News that it was Cruz who orchestrated the push just days before the joint session of Congress on Wednesday to officially approve the Electoral College votes electing former Vice President Joe Biden.

Have to say this is pretty impressive display of leadership by the leading Senator.

Although this could further accelerate ongoing fracturing and disintegration of well funded forever interventions lobbies.

Siince he spent Christmas with Prez Trump, have not seen any news about him joining Cruz led GOP Senators' effort to "Stop the Steal".
Maybe be he is working behind the scene and will appear later in the play.

In other news, didn't realize Mike Lee had already accepted Biden win but left the door open for "new information" whatever that may mean:

Sen. Mike Lee acknowledges Joe Biden is president-elect

Conservative Utah Sen. Mike Lee — who like President Donald Trump had not recognized Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election — relented, sort of, after the Electoral College formally voted Monday.

“Absent new information that could give rise to a judicial or legislative determination altering the impact of today’s Electoral College votes, Joe Biden will become president of the United States on Jan. 20,” Lee acknowledged in a written statement.

Still, Lee added, “Concerns regarding fraud and irregularities in this election remain active in multiple states, and those concerns need to be addressed by Congress and state and local officials throughout the country.”

H/T Matt C, from House side Massie and other libertarians are taking this stance:

[h=2]Thomas Massie's Statement on Congressional Vote Regarding Presidential Electors[/h]....
There is one and only one path to victory for President Trump on January 6, 2021, and it depends on state legislatures certifying Trump electors in the states at issue, pursuant to state law and the U.S. Constitution, and based on a finding that votes lawfully cast in November were sufficient to produce a Trump victory. If they believe there was fraud—and if they believe that such fraud affected the outcome of the election—they must, as a body, convene immediately and send us that information, along with certified electoral votes cast by a Trump slate of electors. Absent such action, there is not a constitutional role for Congress to change the outcome of any state’s vote.

The text of the Constitution is clear. States select electors. Congress does not. Accordingly, our path forward is also clear. We must respect the states’ authority here. Though doing so may frustrate our immediate political objectives, we have sworn an oath to promote the Constitution above our policy goals. We must count the electoral votes submitted by the states.”

MAGA 3D Chess team is probably regretting their recent attack on Massie right about now.

This was interesting last week's "payback" political threat play from globalist GOPA funded camp:

Trump referred to Senate Leader John Thune as “Mitch’s boy”, “RINO”

Trump Adds Senate Leader John Thune To List Of Republicans He Wants Unseated

President Donald Trump on Tuesday appeared to threaten to back a primary against Senate Republican Whip John Thune, who has acknowledged President-elect Joe Biden’s victory and opposed efforts to challenge the Electoral College vote.
Senate McConnell

“Republicans in the Senate so quickly forget. Right now they would be down 8 seats without my backing them in the last Election,” Trump tweeted, despite the fact that he was outperformed by most Republican Senate candidates in key races.

Trump referred to Thune as a “RINO” – short for Republican In Name Only, a pejorative the president has adopted for those he perceives as opposed to him – and “Mitch’s boy” for his loyalty to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has also recognized Biden’s win.

Although considering latest developements, big political risks ahead for those Senators standing with MAGA against GOP establishment this week.
