I saw Phills thread, and I figured I would start my own!

I am getting ready to graduate Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelors in Finance/Economics in about 2 weeks. I have been looking for a career in a finance related area, but really anything business related interests me. I have a great resume and plenty of character references, all I need is some help getting my foot in the door somewhere to get an interview. I have experience in Customer Service, retail, fundraising, and material analysis for a manufacturing plant. I was even an intern for C4L! If anyone has any leads, or knows anyone that is looking for someone to work in the Charlotte, Greenville, Spartanburg area, please PM me!

I will email you my resume if you would like it.

Thanks everyone, ya'll are my online family!

I would recommend you go online and apply at Siemens AG. I work for them and know that they have been expanding their facilities at a very rapid pace in the Charlotte, NC area. Check them out. Best of luck to you.

With that degree I'd look into:

Bank of America (HQ in Charlotte)
BB&T (HQ in Winston-Salem)
Throw on a suit and physically walk into their HR dept.

First Citizens Bank (HQ in Raleigh)
Rock solid, conservative bank.

Also look at CBRE which manages commercial real estate. They do a decent amount of business in Charlotte.

I'd also take a hard look at Atlanta for finance-related work. Atlanta has been hit hard but there are jobs around for degree holders like yourself.

Good luck with your continued job search JV.

There's other banks here in Charlotte besides BoA. Wachova/WF, Ally, BBT all have big offices here. Chiquita is moving their HQ here shortly.
