Seattle PI: Ron Paul could be a spoiler in N.H.

Ron Paul, the libertarian Texas congressman with the anti-war bent, came in fifth in Iowa despite his grass-roots supporters, but his pitch could resonate more in the Northeastern state whose motto is "Live Free or Die." He has languished in polls but could be a spoiler, siphoning voters from others.

The ideal NH outcome is Ron Paul takes first, McCain gets second and Romney in third. We need to think in these terms. The campaign needs to make this happen.

Win NH and ride that momentum into SC and FL. If Ron Paul blows people's minds, then he becomes more viable to the evangelical voters Huckabee is counting on. SC responds to Ron Paul's message of states' rights. We have support among evangelicals in FL with Pastor Chuck Baldwin. This is the only chance to win.

Technically, by the actual definition of spoiler, the only candidate we can be considered even a quasi-spoiler for is Obama because of the close race on his side and the popularity both have among anti-war independents.
