I figure at least 3 ways to handle this:

A) Support them and find out they would stab you in the back anyway, you haven't lost anything (unless your expectations were just really really high)

B) Support them and find out they might actually stand up for you when the time comes, I'm not gonna complain about their support

C) Criticize them while the leftist media is already doing a fantastic job attacking them for being "anti-vaxxer idiots" or something (I'll pass)

(and if anyone doesn't think it's a problem that they're weeding out potentially sympathetic officers and military from the ranks, I don't know what to tell you)

Well it’s a wrap. My patrol vehicle and all my gear left today. After nearly 25 years with the state I am being fired for refusing the Governor’s mandate. It has been an absolute joy and pleasure to work with all of the fine troopers, deputies, officers, and dispatchers across my region and the people remaining have my unwavering support. Sorry man, when these collective assholes donned their "costumes" they declared war on me and mine, they swore allegiance to whatever or whomever writes their paycheck and for that they can never be forgiven.

Just because they're feeling a little bit of the pressure that they themselves applied for literally decades doesn't garner any sympathy from me.

Make no mistake I'm glad they're trying to stand up now but .they're on their own.

How many of the cops who are quitting because vaccine mandates are being imposed upon them would quit if they were exempted, given that they would still be expected to enforce (or assist in the enforcement of) vaccine mandates on others?

Because I'm guessing it's about the same as the number of cops who have quit because they were expected to capture and cage people for possessing or using certain plants or other substances, seize their assets, etc.

In other words: pretty much about zero or so.

Of the ones who took the vaccine to prove their loyalty to master and will remain on duty, that majority will have no qualms about bashing your face in for not getting the shot.

In other words, they're intentionally driving out the ones who have shown some capability of critical thinking.

I know how we love to kick people when they're down, but I just don't see any reason to jeer at them for that. I hope they do find a constitutional sheriff's office to go work for.
