Anyone else on board with this?

Come on, you know it is more productive. The campaign has the phone from home setup to call Iowa now, not NH, I'm excited about that. We've got another half hour or so to make calls.
Lets do that instead.

...... it does more to get Ron Paul elected than watching the debate does. This is truth.

It's a bit late in the night to be calling imo. Wait until tomorrow, but remember people are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Politeness is key, if they don't want to talk ask if you can call them at a later date.

It switches to Nevada after a certain time, not the same as connecting with Iowa voters but it will help. Phone from home is not as sexy as say trolling internet media and posting comments, but probably more likely a key to winning Iowa and NH.

Bless your heart. I watched the debate, but I made 500 calls yesterday and about 250 today. I'll make up for it tomorrow -- promise!
It IS IMPORTANT to be making those calls!

So far, I've only been calling Iowa. What do you think NH will think of my southern accent? LOL

I went to the baton rouge HQ tonight for the debate but didn't get to catch much of it because of phone banking :)

I actually viewed comments during the debate in the chat room while I called, but I agree.

Not everyone has money to give but calling is free and it seems to be VERY effective. Please people, its a very easy script and doesnt require much time or energy.

I'm with you brother. I held a training call training others to call Iowa! Then I made 20 calls. I should have made more, but I had to make dinner for my kids.

I spent about 2 hours calling this afternoon before the debate. I'm thinking I should've kept calling instead of watching the stupid debate. All I want to do is scream at the TV... GEEZ I GET SO FRICKIN MAD! Those stupid candidates calling for war, war, war or frickin Newt calling for regime change, LIKE ITS ANY OF OUR BUSINESS! Right there, admitting our govt is involved in regime change. Look who was in the audience... Edwin Meese and frickin Paul Wolfowitz! and that's just two!

Wolfowitz boils my blood. Unbelievable that they would let him ask a foreign policy question after the disaster he wrought for us. He's responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths of Iraqis and Americans.

I was "shy" of volunteering to call, but you're right -- it's a very easy script. I'm going to try and get a screen shot of the process and post asking for volunteers. There was never a good tutorial posted and people are slow to volunteer when they don't know what they're volunteering to do!

In the previous debate thats exactly what I did. I just did the Phone from Home program and then watched the re-cap later. There is no point in wasting time watching the debate when you can be doing some thing to actually help Paul win.

I'm out of the country with high latency to the US, but last debate I got in a good hour of calls to New Hampshire and Nevada while following comments about the lack of Ron Paul at CBS's debate.

Just imagine the power of 854 people completing 100 surveys...

85,400 surveys would be completed.. 18-25% of whom would be IDed as RP supporters to turn out on caucus day, and with the other 75% we'd have the top two issues to follow up with.

Remember, we only need about 40k votes to win in Iowa.
