At one point he was much more popular; his support was weak. Clearly all that weak support went elsewhere; maybe it can be convinced to go to Randal.

Walker's exit goes to show how fluid the race is and how one does not want to be the front runner this far out from Iowa. You also don't want to be in the 0-1% range either. Well unless you are a Carly and get to become the media's "pump and dump candidate."

Headline should read: ONCE FRONT RUNNER EXITS

Voters are still looking for a home and will do so all the way up until Iowa and NH. Those 2 states will set the tone of the race for those left still in it.

Does that leave 14 candidates now or 13? I would expect 5 to maybe 10 actually making it to Iowa.

Actually there are 15 left if you count Gilmore who didn't meet minimum threshold (1%, I think) to be included even in the undercard panel in the 9/18/15 CNN debate.

Since PPP just released a poll showing Walker ahead of Rand, it's a good idea to extended branches to other flailing campaigns and build that coalition that Rand keeps talking about.
