A hut with a dirt floor is another edge case I've previously considered.

But barns and huts or the like are rarely the context for most of the usages of "floor" I've been encountering for a while now.

It's mostly things like grass lawns or exterior concrete surfaces.

Nor should anyone be gullible enough to donate to any funding set-ups. So much effort is being put into covering up what actually happened - the situation is ripe for exploitation, and exploited it will be.

We’ll see falsehoods implied, exaggerations, half truths, misrepresentations, complete lies - much of it coming from alleged friends who we’re supposed to trust. We’ll see all the same ploys typically used to ensure whatever the outcome, most people will be unable to quite discern what actually happened.

I only believe what I can see with my own eyes in the video and that is; these girls continuously back away from this man, while he keeps advancing on them, goading them, antagonizing them. This is predatory behavior. It’s abuse. it’s not the behavior of a decent mature adult.

If the girls had previously assaulted him in any way, he had the option of calling a cop. He didn’t do that. He decided to chase and bully them because they were just little girls. He had no fear, just hate. If he were another child, you would call him a bully - but this is an adult male. I would think even the UK has laws against chasing and harassing children this way?!

I hope Musk is able to back her up and find her/them some smart representative who can make a case on her/their behalf, against this abusive child basher. He should pay a price. Sleazy men need a LOUD reminder that a civil society has no tolerance for those who prey on little girls (despite the gutless government traitors we keep seeing).

This all happening as Rupert Lowe MP has announced that the local authorities of 85 cities in Britain were complicit in child rape. No one should be asking why girls would carry weapons!

For some reason - I know not why - a lot of people have started referring to the "ground" as the "floor".

I first noticed this several years ago. At first, I though it might have been a Britishism (like "boot" for "trunk", or "lift" for "elevator") that I had somehow missed before. But now I encounter it far too often in non-British contexts for it to be as simple as that. Perhaps it's just a formerly obscure Britishism that's spreading to English more broadly, for some strange reason. Either that, or I'm taking crazy pills.

It makes me twitch - "ground" is outside, "floor" is inside, dammit! (So does using "imply" when one means "infer", and vice versa.)

But what are you gonna do? The evolution of languages is weird like that - especially English (which is both its greatest blessing and its greatest curse).

I think it is British, but based on context -- I watch boxing/MMA/etc. videos online and find that British tend to refer being taken down in a fight -- in the ring, or outdoors -- as "on the floor". I think they also refer to it as "the ground" in other contexts, but I think "the floor" is because it's a fight. "He took a spill and dropped all his eggs on the ground" versus, "His brother was seeing red and knocked him to the floor".

Maybe it's spreading to non-British speakers through MMA/etc. which is very international.

I spoke with the mom of one of the girls (Mayah) and got the entire story that the media is covering up and lying about.

So first of all, the reporting got the names of the girls mixed up. There were 3 girls who were there who were accosted and attacked by the migrants.

Lola - Lola is the hero from the video. She's the one with the axe defending her sister from the migrant attackers

Ruby - Lola's older sister who was attacked and hospitalized

Mayah - Ruby's best friend who was with them and went to call the police after Ruby was attacked by the migrants

Here's the summary of what happened from Mayah's mother:

"Yes. So what happened was the girls where out just walking and the man in the picture made comments to Lola (the younger girl) calling her sexy and other sexual remarks then the girls started to tell this man to leave them alone and stop following them and making sexual remarks to them. After that the man's sister (also in the picture) came around the corner and physically attacked Ruby (the older sister) she grabbed her hair dragged her to the floor started to punch her then both the man and woman where kicking her in head while she was on the floor. At this point my daughter (Mayah) called the police so my daughters account after that is all a bit blurry. But that is when Lola had the weapons she pulled them out to protect Ruby. After that the man came back at Lola recording her making sure she showed the weapons to the camera and antagonising her. Ruby was hospitalised after the attack with a severe concussion a tennis ball sized lump to the back of her head as well as lots of bruises."

First let's get to some additional details that were not reported by the police or the media regarding the gypsy migrant who describes himself as "the gypsy gangster."

When the family arrived on scene Fatos Ali Dumana was seen assaulting the police officers, spitting on them and had to have a spit bag put on his head. After that, he was put into the back of police van where he went irate and was aggressively kicking the van from the inside.

According to the family, the original CCTV footage that would have shown the entire series of events has now "gone missing." In addition to the CCTV footage's miraculous disappearance, the family has tried to get hospital records from Ruby's hospital visit. Unfortunately they were informed by the hospital that this request would take weeks. Have you ever heard of a simple hospital record taking weeks to get?

Because of all the fake reports from media organizations like Daily Mail, the families of the girls are in fear for their life. They've been harassed daily by the media, by the police, and by others in the community branding them "far-right racists" just for speaking the truth of what happened to their 12 and 13 year old daughters. The police have also given them "rape alarms" and locks to put on their doors as there are reports of violent threats against them.

It's become clear that the UK system is now designed to help the criminals and punish the victims. I'll continue to update this story as I hear more.

Important update from the families of Lola, Ruby and Mayah. This will be part 3 of my reporting on this incident. Finally we have concrete answers and definitive proof of what happened on Aug 23rd.

If you’ve followed my reporting on this incident you’ve gotten a very different story than what was originally told by the Scotland Police, by the migrants in question and by the media.

The claim by the Scotland Police was that CCTV footage which conveniently has now “gone missing”, proved that there were no crimes committed other than the “possession of offensive weapons” charge against Lola Moir.

We now have definitive proof that this is a lie and that the Scotland Police have been engaging in a cover up to protect the migrant and his sister from the crime of assaulting a minor. Attached is a screenshot of the hospital record proving that Ruby Moir sustained a serious head injury (concussion) as a result of the assault by “The Gypsy Gangster” Fatos Ali Dumana and his sister.

If you recall from my previous reporting, we described the vicious assault where the sister of the migrant violently attacked Ruby unprovoked, yanked her to the ground by her hair, then her and her brother “The Gypsy Gangster” proceeded to kick her head in while she lay defenceless on the ground. You’ll also recall that this is what motivated Lola to pull out the Knife and Hatchet to scare off the violent migrants and save her sister’s life.

This evidence also proves that the Daily Mail defamed these girls when it published a fake puff piece article on the violent migrant claiming he is just an innocent “Bulgarian dad”. In the fake article they also published the following lie from the migrant “I didn't hit her, I swear on my life, I have a baby now. I would never hurt someone. would never attack anyone”. We hope that the Daily Mail will do the right thing and publish an immediate retraction.

In addition to the hospital record which unequivocally proves the girls have been telling the truth the whole time. The families also have a recording from the Scotland Police where the police admit that the families’ sequence of events is correct, corroborating their entire story. The Scotland police have promised the families that they will release a statement in the coming days vindicating the families and clearing their names.

We can only hope that this leads to charges filed against the violent migrants and the charges against Lola dropped.

Police are growing 'increasingly concerned' after two sisters, ages 12 and 13, went missing after going to the Wellgate Shopping Centre on Tuesday, July 29 in Dundee, Scotland

Apparently both she and Lola Moir were reported "missing" by Scottish police sometime between July 29 and August 1, but not the Scottish police Facebook page with that announcement is "missing."

Edit: Wait a minute @Anti Federalist. What happened to the third girl? According to the report that @Occam's Banana posted, it was a third girl who had the concussion. There were two girls in the video, Lola, the girl with the knife and the hatchet (I cringe everytime someone calls it an "axe") and another girl who says "She's my little sister. She's only 12." So are there 3 sisters? Or is somebody lying? Oh and apparently Ruby and Lola were "trace" (found).

Now here's the really odd thing. The far right is claiming that there is this big conspiracy to cover up what really happened. But stories of rape gangs in the UK are common place. So what's so special about THIS story that would require a complete police cover up? I love a good conspiracy but this one makes no sense.
