Scientists Disclaim Role of CO2 in Global Warming
The 2008 International Conference on Climate Change held in New York City March 2-4 was attended by an impressive list of over 500 people. The conference was organized by the Heartland Institute of Chicago and co-sponsored by dozens of organizations. Also participating were over leading 100 scientists in the climate scientific debate. These scientists made it abundantly clear with hard scientific evidence that greenhouse gases are not the main drivers of global warming. In other words, human activities do not cause warming and economy-destroying laws are not needed. Dr. Fred Singer, an atmospheric and space physicist........

I'd be just as skeptical of this as I would what Al Gore preaches. The environment is far too complicated to truly know what's going on.

I do agree with the sentiment that we should focus on having fewer laws and a better economy though.

Breaking News,
Global warming is caused by the Sun.

And the earth goes through heating and cooling Cycles naturally.

Increase solar radiation may have something to do with comet holmes becoming the 2nd largest body in our solar system. second only to the sun?

Global Cooling
http://www.dailytech.com/Temperature+Monitors+Report+Worldwide+Global+Cooling/article10866.htm

Twelve-month long drop in world temperatures wipes out a century of warming

Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile -- the list goes on and on.

I saw five feet of snow on the ground at my place more than I have ever seen in 39 years. A few miles from me had 11 feet on the ground and this is not in the high mountains.

That has nothing to do with anything.
U.S. Senate Report: Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007
http://epw.senate.gov/public/index....ecord_id=f80a6386-802a-23ad-40c8-3c63dc2d02cb
INTRODUCTION:

Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore.
Prepare for Cooling, not Warming
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/122
The world is cooling. Global temperatures have declined since 1998 and a growing number of climate experts expect this trend to continue until at least 2030. This, happening while carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions continue to rise, is in complete contradiction to the theory of human-induced (anthropogenic) global warming (AGW). The CBC and other die-hard AGW proponents respond by publicizing selected glacial melts and the impact of dramatic but improbable sea level rises, the only warming issues that seem to grab public attention.
