SC Senator Tom Davis, likes Ron Paul, Is Among Most Influential in SC

He IS Sanford. He is his replacement. Any endorsement Davis gives, you can assume Sanford would do the same thing. Rumors of Davis either running for the US Senate or Governor. He's going to be a major player in the Republican party and should be watched closely. Luckily, he is an awesome, principled guy who reads Mises and believes in freedom.

I hope we are compiling a list of all the politicians that endorse Paul. I don't know about the rest of you but I fully intend to spread some $ around to all of them in future elections.

He seems great and seems to agree on economics and domestic stuff, but I haven't heard him say anything about agreeing with Ron Paul on Foreign Policy. I have a feeling that FP is what's going to hold up his endorsement. I would venture to guess the same is true for DeMint. Has anyone heard something different on this?

That's just what I was thinking. This guy actually stood there and had a lengthy, intellectual interview with a liberal internet media guy on the difference between crony capitalism and free-markets, and even threw in some talk about special interest lobbyists as well.

I'm not sure who I'm more impressed with, senator Tom Davis or the interviewer who didn't come there to argue with him.

Seems like a good guy. Signs seem to point to him endorsing Ron.


Is Sanford going to endorse Ron? I know he had his scandal, but it wasn't horrible and I don't see how it could hurt.

edit: just saying this because, in politics you never know people's intention. On thing that should be made clear to him, if he endorses Paul he can count on $ and support for his next campagin whatever that might be...
