Satan is in Control of Human Governments ( Can you tell? )

And not surprising, the poster's video link is a baseless attack on Christianity. Quoting things out of context has to be a witness
in itself.

I'd say that video is far from baseless and as straight forward as it gets-or did you feel it was "beneath notice" and not watch it?

It took things out of context, got progressively worse, was outright lying at the end, and the reader was noticeably gasping with a smirk near the end - which fyi was also audible in the zeitgeist defense video posted, also near the end. Same spirit controlling both people apparently.

I assume grisley lying and mockery has no concourse with truth. Part of what Christians know from the bible is you don't mock even if you believe someone is an enemy - that is loving your enemy.

If you really wish me to analyze this video in detail, like I said in reply to your PM, post a separate thread, and I will gladly show the maker of this as a liar.

BeFranklin you want a liar I had to read Ben Franklin's autobiography today. I wanted to complete that deism quote of his for you and throw in a few others. However, I'm some sorta evil being so I felt touching a great religious object like Franky would be heresy. Ben Franklin was raised presbyterian and took issue with many of its doctrines. Deism contributed to greatly to his religious views and philosophy. The quote for you quote you picked for him just shows he did not feel it was most pertinent to him, ultimately. He basically dodged. He ultimately found his own path on the majority of religious issues. Though he was more than happy to support his local church, he seldom went. He talks about some of his discourse with his church minister as well as how he supported a preacher who had polarized his congregation. You outta post those from his autobiography.

Go back to my original thread and notice I posted the whole page from his deism quote. Unlike the athiest sites that cut it off, he explicitly said he did not like deism. To cut off a quote to make it say the opposite of it is intentionally lying if done on purpose.

Later in the thread, you will discover that that he presided over writing the Pennsylvania Constitution of 1776, with his name at the bottom, which required office holders to believe in the divine inspiration of scriptures by oath, which obviously he also took. He regularly attended church, and recomended the same. He definately is not the athiests we see here on these forums or elsewhere today.

Nor would vanity in any man save someone from the wraith of God. Because even making out people to be other than they were in history will not absolve anyone of one sin in the eyes of God.

Um your quote doesn't say he didn't like it all? He did not regularly attend church either that's one of the areas he fought with his minister on I can easily get that quote. Anyway, he just discussed Deism and said it ultimately wasn't important to his end beliefs.

Ok, since you don't want to actually discuss anything but emote it.

I'll take it back. It did influence his later life. He said that since everyone that believed that way did him dirty without the least compulsion, there must be something wrong with it, and that providence or some guiding angel or fate saved him from his youthful folly (to paraphrase).

Ever since that time period, he repeatadly said that religion was necessary to morality, as did most of the other founding fathers. So yes, that bad experience did shape his views.

FYI: Writing a paper again? If you aren't going to quote me as a source, its plagerism.

Anouther personal attack. I could do just as well and say you're a "good satanist".

Debate the merits of your system. Don't tell me I don't know my own, when you don't even personally know it. The only reason I see for this type of attack "Christians aren't good Christians" and "The bible isn't true" is a sin problem. The bible says you shouldn't be doing the things you are, and instead of repenting, you attack everything.
Take your blinders off. "There are NONE so blind as those who WILL NOT see."

BTW, that is just another sad dodge post and with contextomy added in, to boot. Well at least you quoted PART of the post that time.

I'm sorry, but you have NO AUTHORITY to give me orders, make the rules, and tell me what to do.

YOU are telling me that YOU don't know your own. I'm just reporting and calling YOU on those FACTS. Yes, they are pretty insulting ....... to Jesus.<IMHO>

It's NOT my bible. I just obviously KNOW it MUCH better than you do. Probably because I've actually READ IT more times, cover to cover.

The obligation and burden of obedience to their LORD, MASTER and RULER is on the "Christians". DUH!!! YOU FAIL, BIG TIME. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. GET A CLUE!

I'm just tryin' to help you to save your soul here, with the commands of Jesus to YOU from YOUR bible, since you are doing such a crappy job of it, on your own.

"3 And why behold the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how will thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." -- Jesus [ Matthew 7:3-5 (KJV) ]

"The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath. He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth."

We use computer mouses with our right hand. Think about it.
(We also usually masturbate with our right hand as well.)

I use both my right and left hand.

... to use the mouse I mean :P
