President Obama doesn’t have the “cojones” to protect America’s border with Mexico, Sarah Palin charged today, using Spanish slang for testicles.

In lashing out at the President’s manhood, the former Alaska governor was lamenting a federal judge’s decision last week to toss key parts of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s controversial immigration law that would let cops detain people who look to them like illegal immigrants.

“Jan Brewer has the cojones that our President does not have to look out for all Americans, not just Arizonans, but all Americans,” Pailn said on “Fox News Sunday.”

I can tell you that most of her followers will throw away their politeness when referring to Obama. I see it all the time (and I don't necessarily disagree with it either)

She could have easily said "chutzpah," but that sounds wrong I guess. It's not exclusively Mexican slang, either; it's fairly widespread among Spanish-speaking countries. It's one of few vulgarities that carries across various nations/territories

It doesn't necessarily mean she's drawing attention to an anatomical failing. Hell, even saying "You don't have the balls to do that!" doesn't carry the implication that you don't actually have testicles.

It is, though, not the most demure thing she might have said.
