This is a second time in recent history the media is killing a good candidate.

Sarah, you've been there. You know what it's like to be blindly unfairly media-mob attacked.

After Iowa, whether Ron Paul wins or loses, you will not have a greater chance to live your trace in history. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Stand up for Ron Paul defense!

Great point. I think it is a win/win situation for Palin. If she endorses Paul and he wins, she is a king maker. If she endorses Paul and for some reason he loses, then four years from now when we are further in debt, deeper entrenched in war, and just whole lot worse off than we are now she can say "I told you so".

She won`t endorse Paul due to his foreign policy. I`m not even sure her endorsement will do good. Might do more harm than good.
She`s seen by some as narrow minded woman and having Ron Paul in same boat with her might backfire.

Glenn Beck threw his support behind Ron Paul vs Newt which I think it`s huge and even agreed to some of his foreign policy and talked about the danger of WW3. Maybe even some of these chicken-hawks can come around. So I guess anything`s possible at this point.

The people you're talking about tend to be liberals. We don't need to worry about them yet. Palin endorsement would be a huge boost.

She has fairly high favorability ratings in the GOP. Upwards of 60% I think. An endorsement would be good for securing the nomination. He certainly won't lose any of his current support by her endorsement, and the few purists out there that would jump ship aren't going anywhere else.

And to add to what alexamasan said, the liberals won't like the Palin endorsement, but honestly they won't like any Republican endorsement that might come his way as he marches towards the nomination.

Sarah Palin reminds me of the mother from Bobby's world...."Don't ya know"

A Sarah endorsement or connection to Ron Paul would be a double edged sword......... However, it could work out well if played properly....here is how: Within the Republican party she isn't a complete outcast & many of her supporters are hardcore conservatives, which are McCain fans which don't like MITT......SO iff played strategically it could help big time.....But WHEN RON PAUL GETS THE NOMINATION, TELL HER TO SHUT THE @#$% UP IN THE GENERAL because DEMOCRATS HATE THAT "CRAZY WHITE LADY"

Palin was hit pretty hard last go around and in my view was caught by surprise.

What ever anyone says always remember that they went through all those emails and found nothing !
She is honest and the people following her were not necessarily ok with Mcain. (that would have been me).

Although you would think she would be hard core WAR, I don't think so.

Her son is or maybe was deployed and she is a mother.

She would be the perfect spokesperson for Ron's foreign policy.
I think if they talked she would see war through Ron eyes, Just and Declared.
"If the people through congress declare war ..... do it and get it over with."

IMHO:rolleyes:

I agree. Love her or hate her, you can't deny that Rand Paul's numbers got a big boost when she endorsed him.

You also can't deny that raising Paul's national average by even just 1% wouldn't be worth it if she endorsed him. Plus the air time coverage it would bring would be like millions$ of free advertising. Despite people leaving the Palin train, many still love her.

Haters gotta stop hatin'. We need all the love we can get. Once the Newt Romney's start dropping out and consolidating their neocon vote, we are going to have a much tougher time. The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

Along the way, Palin and her family have been handing out copies of the Constitution as they make their tour.

“Hopefully, we’ll see kids on field trips today, and we’ll ask them to read those Constitutions and really absorb what’s in there,” she said in the morning.

Blindly and unfairly attacked? No no no, she's seriously lobotomized.

The fact that some people here actually sympathize with that intellectual featherweight only shows how partisan a lot of people are.

In fact, the only reason Sarah Palin got so popular is BECAUSE the 'librul media" attacked her obvious shortcomings. She's dumb, ignorant, hates gays, knowledge and brown foreigners and loves Israel more than America. She's the embodiment of the lowest common denominator in modern American conservatism. So when the media 'snobby east coast librul media elite' attacks, people feel mindlessly obliged to support her.

This is why the newsletter thing is a blessing in disguise. It makes Ron Paul look like the victim of a librul smear campaign. So the GOP latches onto him.

Great. She should start reading it too.

She may reluctantly endorse the guy, though. It'll be either Paul or Romney. But those are the only candidates running anyway.

I don't understand how she was ever a good candidate. I thought the criticisms of her lack of experience and such were legitimate.

I for one think Palin has shown a lot of growth over the past 4 years. I'm all for giving people second chances.

Palin is like the girl who all of a sudden gets invited to sit at the cool table in high school and now she'll pretty much do or say anything to keep her new status. She has no principles. When she said on hannity the other day something like " I obviously have disagreements with ron on foreign policy", i wanted to slap her, no you don't sarah, you have no opinions, you just want to fit in and have sean hannity like you.

And on the other hand, there are those who feel they need to be so ideologically pure that they can't see the value in an endorsement from a Republican with very high favorability ratings in the party.

I am sick and tired of hearing liberal mantra that whoever doesn't agree with them is stupid. Clinton is brilliant, Obama is smart, but Bush is damn, Reagan is an idiot, and Palin is "seriously lobotomized?" What kind of geniuses are we to repeat that?

One of the main charges against her is that she didn't answer right away what sources she used for news. She probably didn't want to give credit to New York Times and CNN - most of the news sources are too liberal.

Besides, do we want a politician to be smarter than we are? So that it'll be easier for him to convince us to pay for what he wants?

I know that when Obama became the President, she was probably the single voice who wasn't afraid to speak against him. Especially at the beginning, when he was very popular. And when almost everybody else was silent.

Like right now, when Ron is under attack.
