Santorum is the new Huckabee

Santorum talks a big game about being against abortions, but his voting record tells a very different tale.

I am glad to know that there are PLENTY of evangelicals in this forum that have not bought into the lie to support candidates like Santorum and choose to instead support a true Christian like RP. I realize that RP attracts many non-Christians and that is fine with me as we can fight for our liberties and share the same tent. But it galls me that so many evangelicals can be hoodwinked by the evangelical leadership to vote for such a candidate as Santorum with his voting record and not for RP with his voting record. Where is the discernment these days as it is most certainly gone out the door!

I seem to recall Huckabee and ??? could have combined their delegates to hinder/influence McCain.

Seemed to be a big deal at the time at least to us, as so many Huckabee fans were talking of holding their nose to vote McCain.

My apologies if I have this all wrong -my procedural knowledge is as awsome as my power to retain things...

SCRIBE!! Somebody summon the Scribe!

You know Santorum is going to get his own show on Fox when Ron Paul is president just so he can bash him.

I can say this because I am from South Carolina... born and raised there.. South Carolinians are very simple minded... ignorant comes to mind... lazy.. They go to church faithfully on Sunday, and rely on their pastors to tell them what to do the rest of the week; and how much money to give them...

My Grandmother in Greer, South Carolina lived on Social Security; and was one of those fools who donated to Jim and Tammy Faye Baker every month !!!! It's unbelievable to me, they have become so mind controlled, and so stupid they won't even vote for one of their own? Ron Paul is a Southern Baptist, and they choose a northern Catholic, wtf? I can't help but wonder if Obama's team working on the Southern Pastors.... you know $$$$$$ in the pass around plate... just to throw the election his way.

Their last choice, Huckabee, lost... This choice Sanitorum will lose; as no one in their right mind; other than the evangelicals will vote for him..

What's up? Is there high corruption and Obama control in the baptist ministry? Obama is trolling for the weakest candidate to run against, and South Carolina right there to give it to them... My home state... It was always in the bottom three of education and literacy, wonder if it still is.

Oh one other thing, I would love to be a fly on the wall in South Carolina when and if the nightmare of Santorum's evangelical pick comes true; and all birth control is outlawed and people are forced to multiply.... LMAO..... what will we have them.... 200 million illegal alien babies in the country sucking up the tax dollars?

Most of rural Georgia voted for Huckabee too in 2008, the South has a lot of problems, a ton of group think down there.

Santorum is not the new Huckabee. He's the old Huckabee who won the IA caucus by accident.

Huckabee had huge support all over the South in 2008, we'd be lucky to get that there. Here's what he won in 2008:
