Sanders house party draws 100 thousand people

No, Bernie would definitely bow out of the race and support the eventual nominee in Hillary. Trump on the other hand would continue to disrupt the republican side of the race to make sure Hillary wins the general. I foresee a third party run if he doesn't get his way in the primaries. I think both camps are working for the Hillary campaign but going about it in different ways.

Bernie would win over the liberals who are tired of the corporatist and war mongering tendencies on Hillary and Trump would tarnish the republican party all the way he can until they are unable to win a general election. Both essentially working to get Hillary the Nov win

100,000 people hate freedom. Note, these are the people in our community we will have to watch our backs for.

is it really possible for two people who ran not to win, but to prove a point (Sanders and Trump) could actually win their nominations?

No. This is something that shouldn't really even be a question. Sanders is a con-man selling some really noxious snake oil, and Trump does not have the necessary temperament to carry the GOP nomination, though he my be able to hang in for a while a shake things up. If he runs 3rd party, he will have proven that he's not interested in helping the country and any respect I have for him goes clear out the window.
