As soon as he was done giving his speech today at city hall in san diego, he walked directly over to me and I was the first person he shook hands with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I met him!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone has a video of the speech in sd today I'd love a youtube link! Probably wont be out till a couple days...

I'd say 200 people, everyone had a great view! I was directly beside him and I showed up at 12 (the time he was scheduled to talk)

Well here I am living in the totalitarian state of the UK, an Englishman prisoner of the welfare state, infinite monetary debasement and my dream is to meet Ron Paul.

I can say without hesitation, he is GOD as far as I'm concerned

Congratulations...........

Awesome! Was that for the book signing he was at today or the brunch this morning?

I actually contemplated the drive down there but it would have been like 9-10 hours and I already saw him speak twice in Nevada, once in Reno and once in Carson City. Congrats as I never got to shake his hand, it must have been a real honor.:D

Yes, it was great. I'm still in shock about it... if someone comes across a video of the event (i'm looking for one too), I'd love it if you pmed with the link (or post it in this thread)! It was at the book signing not the brunch. RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky me, I live in the edge of his district. Wish I had met him more before this "Revolution" made him so popular :D.

That's awesome dude. Was it raining down in San Diego? It was pretty cold with some light rain in LA.

This was a good event. I drove down from Orange County (about a 2 hour drive). It was cloudy as I was driving down, then it started to rain, then rain harder, I got lost, then got lost again, but finally ended up at the right place. The rain stopped during the time of his speech and for the bulk of the book signing. Estimates put the numbers at 200 or 400, it was probably 200-300. The book signing line was VERY long, and I was worried I wouldn't get my book signed as he had to leave soon to catch a plane. When his speech was over, people started lining up so fast, it was hard to get in line! I saw some police presence and some local News vans parked on the street, so that might have been on the evening news there.

Ron Paul wanted people to maintain the meetups and grow the freedom movement. He also reminded people of various rally's in the future. I noticed he projected more emphasis for people to have a big rally in St. Paul, at the time of the Republican National Convention.

Some photos from the San Diego event... the fund raising breakfast and then rally outside.
