How many people know about San Antonio's Mission Verde plan? I wrote an article about it on my website, but I need more information on how it is being implemented.

Never heard of it. I found this website from the City of San Antonio: http://www.sanantonio.gov/oep/SustainabilityPlan.asp?res=1093&ver=true. Does this help or is this information you already have?

That is where I received my information for my article. In addition to some other links around the web. I know the OEP is implementing a bike share program, I actually saw some of these bike racks that look like vending machines for bikes. But I didn't get an up close look at them. I know one of the goals of Mission Verde is to have mixed-use development, which is what is happening at the Pearl Brewery. I am hoping for more information on that type of thing. I'm also looking to find people to get involved. Help get the word out. San Antonio has been pushing Sustainable Development since Mayor Hardberger.

I live near Houston so I don't know much about this. I would like to learn more, though, since I'm sure this sort of thing will soon be promoted all over the state.

Feel free to visit my website. I have links to a lot of resources. I also have some articles of my own. I'm kind of by myself on this, so if you want to help out, you are welcome to do so. Just create an account. I will have to look into what Houston is doing and see how far they are in the process.
