Of course, here is the folly of taking on McCain at THIS point of the election: McCain won NJ in February. NJ's primary rules are set up in such a way that you can expect that the same group of voters, or a subset thereof will be the people going to the polls this summer.

He's "taking on" the candidate of choice for the voters he needs to woo.

Sabrin did not knock anyone out. Estabrook had a STROKE. It wasn't faked. She was in the hospital. Her campaign staff then became the Unanue campaign, which begat the Zimmer campaign. Murray can MAYBE claim to have knocked Unanue out, but I think the media did more than Murray's campaign.

Murray has one county line. ONE. Pennacchio can't raise any money and has more county lines. NJ is a boss-state, and the county line is a HUGE advantage, one that Murray doesn't have.

Murray Sabrin has run a bad campaign thus far. Stating a (albeit somewhat subjective) fact is not "shilling" for the neocons. It is people like yourself who prevent Ron Paul and this movement in general from getting respect from the mainstream. When you hear the term "paultard" used on the internet, it isn't referring to rational Ron Paul supporters like myself, but to the irrational ones who attack even constructive criticism.

Sabrin's campaign is not going to be successful, and I say this as someone who has lived in NJ for most of my life, who understands NJ Politics, and who actually knows how people in NJ are reacting to Murray's press releases, and other publicity. He has managed to avoid promoting all of the positions of his that could actually convince NJ GOP voters to push the Sabrin-button this summer.

None of the three candidates have much name recognition. Pennacchio has the least. Zimmer has a bit more, having previously served in Congress.

Murray has the Ron Paul supporters, all 27,000 of them (based on the Feb. Primary).

Zimmer should get the McCain/Giuliani voters: 313,459 for McCain, around 15k for Rudy.

Pennacchio will get the huckabee voters: 46, 284.

Then there are the swing folks. Most of them will vote the county line. Murray should do well in Glouster, where he won the line. Pennacchio and Zimmer split the other counties.

I would predict a Zimmer win, but Pennacchio may not be too far behind.

Sabrin has to cross his fingers and pray for a low turn-out. If he gets that, he might sneak in. The NJ GOP establishment (who make up most of the primary voters, usually), doesn't just not-like Sabrin, they HATE him.


In November the Ballot will be either Pennacchio or Zimmer against Lautenberg. It won't matter who wins that, because they all suck.

Sabrin should consider dropping out of the GOP race and running as a Libertarian. I'm pretty sure they would take him back. It's a huge disadvantage, but it's the only way I see Sabrin on the ballot in Nov.

About 566,201 votes were cast in the Super Tuesday primary for the GOP in NJ. Don't expect a much bigger turnout for the summer primary. Maybe even 100,000+ fewer. That will boost Sabrin's % share of the vote, as I'm pretty sure those Ron Paul voters are locked in for him.

Only 33% of the state voted in the GOP primary in Feb. NJ is at least 2/3 democrat, and the GOP Nomination is pretty much a losing proposition, even if Sabrin won it.

I'll prob. vote for Sabrin in the primary, but I still urge you to spend your time and money on candidates who can win, like BJ Lawson and Amit Singh.

I think I agree with you. I am distressed by some of Murray Sabrin's campaign blunders. I think he was well intentioned, but he made many mistakes. I think if you live in New Jersey you should support him, but otherwise focus on either candidates in your state or candidates like B. J. Lawson and Amit Singh.

First of all, if you look at the exit polls moron, about 1/2 of the anti-war voters actually voter for McCain in the GOP Primaries!
Second, your comment about name recognition is completely pulled out of your A@#!!! Unless you spent about $25,000 of your own money on a statewide poll, you don't have any clue as to what people's name id is. I actually made 100 phone calls this weekend on behalf of Dr. Sabrin's campaign and Dick Zimmer was barely known and Dr. Sabrin was as known as Zimmer!
Third, unless you took Anne Estabrook to hospital yourself and reviewed her MRI you have no idea whether she really had a stroke or not! There is no question, that Dr. Sabrin's campaign effectively froze the field and prevented any potentially credible candidate to enter the race, hence, hey ended up with a washed up lobbyist Dick Zimmer to run!
Additionally, when you speak about the "Establishment" hating Dr. Sabrin, the only ones who have those feelings towards him a few bosses -- unless you are an insider (or have been donating to Dr. Sabrin since January) no one knows how Dr. Sabrin has been attacking his opponents!
Also, your analysis that Dick Zimmer is going to get all of McCain and Rudy's votes is ridiculous -- those folks do not know who Dick Zimmer is and as I stated earlier, there were many anti-war voters who voted for McCain because they viewed him as anti-Bush!

And finally, I will repeat that anyone reading your comments should know that ALL you have done throughout Dr. Sabrin's campaign has been to post negative comments about him!! SO you aren't kidding anyone -- you are clearly a shill for someone and The Ron Paul community will not be fooled by your assinine comments!
