Anyone catch Rush today? I heard some of it and I actually cheered in my car! I swear I thought he was about to endorse Paul.... He said Romney is a phony conservative propped up by the establishment and he can't beat Obama. He said Perry can't win and the establishment want us to think we need a moderate when what the country really wants is an unapologetic conservative,... He is sooo close... Please write to Rush today and ask him to give Paul another look and point out his strong polling against Obama. If we can get Rush on our side we win.

I don't believe the party insiders want him to say the stuff he said about Perry and Romney today.. He called them the establishment and said he recently learned they hate being called that.

From what I've been hearing Chris Christie has plenty of dirt on him too, so unless Rush is just looking for whichever shoe that can fit he can't be serious about saying he wants a true conservative.

Rand is not his father. Rand has a lot more learning to do. If Rand is doing this to garner more support, I would admonish him for sucking up to the neocons and it's politics as usual...nothing different. His father, OTOH, has proven that he is not going with the status quo just for appeasement.

That being said, Ron Paul's foreign policy is spot-on! It is the pseduo-patriots that have bought the warmongers fear tactics, hook, line and sinker!

It should be required reading for everyone in the two parties to read, Smedley D. Butler's "War is a Racket."

We need to remind him that the Republicans have adopted the Democrats' foreign policy. Was George W. Bush's policy in 2000 the liberal one and Al Gore's the conservative one? Did Nixon expand the Vietnam war, or did he end it? Did Eisenhower expand the Korean war? Or did he sign an armistice? Is Mr. Republican Robert Taft a liberal?
