Anyone catch Rush today? I heard some of it and I actually cheered in my car! I swear I thought he was about to endorse Paul.... He said Romney is a phony conservative propped up by the establishment and he can't beat Obama. He said Perry can't win and the establishment want us to think we need a moderate when what the country really wants is an unapologetic conservative,... He is sooo close... Please write to Rush today and ask him to give Paul another look and point out his strong polling against Obama. If we can get Rush on our side we win.

Edit:

Here is the transcript... Read this and tell me it isn't worth trying to sway him to our side, playing the angle that Paul is marginalized by the liberal media because he's a true conservative.

you mean the same rush that just a couple weeks ago was saying that Dr. Paul would destroy the Republican party? good luck with that!

Yes the same Rush.... Remember, he took it back the next day, likely because many conservatives like Paul.

He hates Ron Paul because he is establishment. He and the rest of the radio hosts will never like Ron because he doesn't support putting Israel before America and preemptively invading Iran. Also, they are staunch prohibitionists.

Rush is just setting the stage for Christie's entrance IMO. The peeps pulling the strings are managing this just like any competent corporation rolling out a new product. It's planned and coordinated for maximum impact.

Look, the fact is, he said Romney is an establishment candidate that can't win.... He did not think Perry can win either, nor would he be good for the country. He is not interested in Christie either.... Sounds like he's swinging to Cain, Bachmann, Paul. I am not giving up hope on Rush.

LOL that's what i was thinking but then again I wonder if he was supporting Perry and just had like a total revelation. I mean this is the same guy that carried the establishments water for so many years and then complained about carrying their water only now to carry their water or not? He seems very confused man, who knows, you never know about these people.

I kinda doubt Rush would take a "second look" at Paul. His stance on the Internation relations just doesn't sit well with guys like Limbaugh. What Specs said.

I think what Rush wants is Ron Paul, but with the foreign policy rhetoric of Santorum or Gingrich. That won't happen so you can forget about a Rush endorsement.

Rush is just setting the stage for Christie's entrance IMO.
said Christie is no good, not conservative enough, has no experience on the national stage and frankly isn't ready. He did not endorse Christie even a little. He slammed the perceived frontrunners. His producer asked who he would like to drop out right now, and he laughed and said you know I can't say that yet, wait a few weeks.

I agree with Rush on damn near everything but where he loses me is on foreign policy and it's components such as GITMO and the Patriot Act and why he will never endorse Ron Paul.

Will it kill you to write him a 5 sentence email? I want Ron to win, I am not giving up on these guys like Rush and Hannity.

He said the country and party need an unapologetic conservative who won't reach across the aisle. I swear he was describing Ron Paul. He has millions of loyal "ditto heads" and it is worth the 5 minutes it takes to write him an email.

i've never heard rush say a nice (or, for that matter, respectful) word about Ron Paul. he is king RINO, regardless of the irony that he rails against them. he wants nothing to do with putting an antiwar libertarian republican in the white house.

Tell me more about Rush taking it back the next day. I didn't hear about that....

Never underestimate the ability of someone, even like Rush, to find a time that feels comfortable for them to switch their views for their listeners/viewers. He may ride the winds of change, or have a change of perspective as he views all the other candidates as phonies.

Hannity has basically said "I believe in 95% of what you have to say, Congressman Paul." I believe they are both hacks, for the most part. But they both have the opportunity to change their tune, (and therefore influence the millions in their audience) and we press for it and welcome it if/when the time comes.
