I was listening to Rush today and I heard him mention Ron Paul's name, so I turned it up so I could listen. He then went into some story about the US government is giving over a billion dollars in subsidies to Mexico, to help mexico secure THEIR southern borders.

Does anyone have any information on this?

If you read the SPP documents on their website I think they mention something about this.

But hey, it seems reasonable to me. I think we should do the same thing all over the world -- give money to every country to "secure" their borders. Then the islamojihadifascistterrorists couldn't go anywhere!

I was in mexico pretty recently and they have checkpoints with military all over the southern region, to try to catch illegals and smugglers.

If we aren't funding it, they sure are.

Rush has been mentioning RP more and more. I've been listening to him at work just waiting for... something.

Today I was a little zoned out on it, but then I heard Rush say something like "Ron Paul wouldn't even say that!" As in, putting RP on THIS side of a crazy statement.
