Rush just said, "If Obama is the nominee, we are DOOMED."

they both suck

Both of them are marxists, they would both suck.... as far as who would suck more.... I think they would both do about the same amount of damage...

if obama is the nominee, the gop will have a huge southern problem that could last a long time. the south will be lost.

You can count on the 2nd amendment being trashed. You can also count on Iran to get invaded over their oil trading deal.

that's because Rush is scared shitless of McCain and is relying on Hitlery now.

I believe that he is refering to the Republican chance of even winning the Presidency. There is no way McCain wins vs. Obama. Obama is too charismatic for McCain and the election is basically a giant popularity contest now a days. Also Obama can take the gloves off and really expose McCain for what he is because he doesn't have to worry about being excluded by the Republican party as the other Rep's nominees have to.

Call him and ask why he won't officially endorse the only candidate that has a chance of saving the situation in Nov.

Either Dem would beat any of the Reps except Paul with ease. Paul stands a SOLID chance in Nov with the GOP behind him. He'll make the Dems look like the demolition team they are. Edit: not all Democrats are bad like that, but your party, like ours, suckkkss at picking worthwhile candidates.

darn when I read the title I was thinking more along the lines that the country is "doomed"- which I would agree with.

Personally, Obama and McCain draw a close tie for the candidates I would LEAST like to see in the white house.

If I had to settle I would rather have a choice between Romney and Clinton.

Obama's ridiculous change rhetoric is the best thing to happen outside of a victory ourselves in regards to long term vision.

Once you get past the fact that they all suck - you see that Obama's message really hurt us the most. The young and ill informed were already married to him emotionally before hearing from us about real change.

What is Rush's motivation? He flourished under a democratic presidency. His ratings were never higher during Clit-on. Such a joke. It is obvious that the American public like to be spoon-fed everything. How do you combat that?

You can count my 2nd amendment rights gone when you pry my weapon from my cold dead hands.

There seem to be a lot of people freaking out over the behavior of the conservative punditry lately. I think it's a lot simpler than most of you think it is. Rush is plenty rich already.

They know we can't win. These are the most politically aware people in the country, they're plugged into joe sixpack, the media and the Washington elite and they know we have no shot at winning but they can't really say so.

So they don't feel any obligation to Juan McCain, they know his nomination is extremely damaging to the GOP in the long term. What we need is someone who can bring as many people into the tent as possible so that we can rebuild a viable party out of the ashes left by the current administration.

They're frustrated and they're flailing, that's all.

Don't you just love all this implosion everywhere you look? People are waking up and it's only a matter of time before the message is everywhere. Once you hear it, you're hooked. Each self-serving move by the establishment is just fuel for our movement and we all know there's no shortage of self-serving moves from our government. I'll enjoy watching the whole system crumble.

I think I am an example of Rush's worry. If it is McCain vs Obama...I will vote Obama. It is the first time I will ever vote for a candidate I do not fully support. The reason being, I fully stand AGAINST McCain. Hillary is worse than McCain and will result in a no vote for me.
