RPF's Official Delegate Count Thread

The only state that has CD results right now is MN.

Colorado and Minnesota will select most of their CD delegates between April 12-15.

I will update the list as results coming in

Cool, just making sure I don't misrepresent the results when I do quick re-reads later. Thanks for the heads up :)

The MN state convention is May 18-19, might want to change that in your original post

I still say if you are in the south please be a delegate for Santorum and for Mitt in the north. That way on the second vote Paul can have a lot more delegates to work with. I would like to see at least 10-20% in all 50 states that the people who ran for Newt/Mitt/Santorum delegates be secretly for Paul.

Yesterday, the Oklahoma 5th District handed the GOP establishment their a$$, as we dominated OUR convention. I am happy to report the spirit of ALL three delegates and ALL three alternates now belong to Dr. Paul. There was nothing they could do to stop our awesome power as we implemented our orders from the Boss. We carefully selected candidates who would not 'offend' the sentiments of those who love undeclared war, crushing debt, NDAA and all the other things the establishment of both sides represent and hold dear. As the convention progressed through voting, the shock and awe left the establishment GOP conventioneers breathless as the vote was taken. After our first stealth candidate won, we knew that our favored "plan A" of full frontal attack could be deployed. We annihilated the opposition openly.

Each candidate gave their speeches and we applauded our people with the usual Paulie enthusiasm. At that point, we knew we had overwhelming power and the word went out to vote straight down the list and exercise the desired 'Plan A'. Our stealth candidate was loved by both sides and he won handily. None of our other candidates received any votes, including ours, but no one cared, since we knew that each candidate would get their flood of votes when it was their turn. Down the list we went, as each of our six choices were installed. It was brutal and surgical. I hate to brag, but we just showed everyone exactly what Ron Paul needs us to do and how to do it.

Of course, our delegates know their first vote in Tampa must be in accordance with party rules and they will follow the rules fairly, but it's going to take some fancy cheating in Tampa to ensure that a house stuffed to the gills with Ron Paul delegates will find a clear winner in the first vote. As the boss told Jay Leno, after the first vote, the delegates are all free to vote their conscience. This is how we win delegates for Ron Paul, folks.

Yesterday was like shooting fish in a barrel and the Boss has given us a flawless plan. Forgive my boasts, but we in the 5th District of Oklahoma showed all y'all exactly how we do things in the Sooner State. Next, we will demonstrate the brilliance of Dr. Paul's plan as we gather even more awesome Ron Paul delegates, from a new pool of at-large delegate candidates in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned.

I don't in caucus or unbound states. In MO I haven't given up on Ron getting a plurality.

the article on green papers Santorum referred to (in his conference call about his supporters working on delegate slates with ours in Washington) suggests all the anti Romneys join to change the binding rules at RNC. It would take a lot of votes, more than the first ballot amount, and I suspect Grinch might negotiate away his leverage to go along with it -- but that isn't to say his DELEGATES might not go along with it..... Grinch's stated reason for staying in is to take the convention by a storm with his eloquent lies. (Well, he didn't mention the lie part, that was me. Bring candidate issue comparison cards with specific citation of the other candidates' positions to Tampa...)

How are the other CD's doing? If we get enough clout, could we change the rules to unbind the delegates?

Updated.

With 48.5% of the delegates left to be allocated, romney has won 52% of the necessary delegates to clinch the nomination.

In other words, if he continues on at this pace, he will come very close to winning without the help of the unbound delegates. Santorum needs to come back strong in May and we need to snatch up the unbound delegates from the caucus states. We CANNOT afford to have another North Dakota

You would need a majority at the very least to do that.

Hopefully our grassroots come through
If it's like Idaho it'll require 2/3rds to do it. Then again it might be a simple 50%+1 since the vote in ID would be to suspend the delegate allocation rules (i.e. proportional binding via the state level caucus) rather than just the boundVSunbound status

The next few states are likely to be a continuation of the Romney trend :( but at least it's kind of expected.
Claiming the rest of the unbounds ("claiming" in this case being equal to "depriving romney" more than "securing for Paul") is key, also pushing forward to strip off a few CDs (and thus delegates) within some of the upcoming states (most specifically TX & CA, tho there's some hope of a few in NY as well due to their grassroots organization).
One of the best possible outcomes (and NV leads the pack for this possibility but it's still by no means a lock to the best of my knowledge) is to move some of the "Romney" delegates into the "Paul" column that's a net win twice over fingers crossed for it and eye's on Nye County as a possible indicator

Bump for update

I added what I believe to be the correct numbers in MN, CO, MO, WY as well as updated superdelegate numbers to CTRattlesnake's OP
Note: OP already included the CD7 results (2 Santorum, 1 Paul).
Also I used the campaign-released Colorado numbers of 13 Romney, 12 Paul, 8 Santorum rather than the uncommitted numbers.

Romney: 611 + 11 (Superdelegates) + 14 (WY) + 13 (CO) + 1 (MN) + 12 (MO) = 662
Santorum: 213 + 8 (CO) + 7 (MO) = 228
Gingrich: 134 + 1 (MO) = 135
Paul: 30 + 12 (CO) + 19 (MN) + 4 (MO) = 65
Uncommitted: 10
Unbound: 186 - 14 (WY) - 33 (CO) - 24 (MO) - 21 (MN) = 94

Romney: 662
Santorum: 228
Gingrich: 135
Paul: 65
Uncommitted: 10
Unbound: 94
Remaining Delegates: 1092

In order for Romney to secure the nomination, he needs 482 delegates or 44% of the remaining delegates.
New York, Texas, and California are going to be big.
If we can prevent Romney from getting over 50% in New York then the chances of a brokered convention look much better.
