Freddy and Fannie is a GSE. GOVERNMENT SPONSORED ENTITY.
So, it's not the free-market, and the facts show Newt was talking out of both sides of his mouth on the issue.

Now, I did think it was interesting none of them mentioned Ted Kennedy's ad he had ready to run against Romney back in the 90s, that showed how Romney's company got FEDERAL FUNDS, and the tax payers had to absorb the losses.

Again, all RP supporters need to research/be really well prepared when going on. Newt and Romney could have come out looking like Obama with the proper answers here.
