I would make it a point to go to CPAC 2011 if enough of us decide to meet at a location determined BEFORE we get there.

In my experience, trying to meet up at conventions is practically impossible unless it is organized before hand. Which means someone involved w/CPAC planning or someone from/familiar with the DC area (BradleyinDC??) helps us find a location to meet.



If the decision is made to meet somewhere else, St Louis/Memphis are doable.


Regardless of where we meet, piggybacking on a big event is a good idea.

Dupont Circle is an area just south of the hotel and has a lot of restaurants and bars so it shouldnt be too hard to find a good place to meet up over there.

Well, I'm going to be stupid busy with election stuff until Nov 2, then there's Thanksgiving and Christmas...and both holidays are more of a month long effort than just one day....

So I'm not sure I can make a big event before January....



That's not a "I won't even try if we don't go to CPAC" message from me, it's more of a "I'll be more likely to go *somewhere* after the end of December."

Plus, hopefully, the hubby and/or I will be employed in a week or two....and things will be easier all the way around.

are you really going to do this? Count me in! I voted Memphis cause thats a city on the list I haven't been to.
