Now everyone will have to vote for McCain at the convention since there is no alternative. I'm really disappointed. I thought he was going to keep going until the actual convention.

I thought that was the point, to actually GIVE the delegates an opportunity to vote for someone else.

No, you do not have to vote against your conscience and vote for McCain, simply don't vote. You should never vote against your conscience, never, no matter what.

I am very sad also, I was a delegate for my state, but I am still glad I was able to go and be a part of the convention. Ron Paul has worked very hard, and hung in there far longer than most, there were rumors last weekend that he had threats made against his life and his family. Not sure if we will ever get to the bottom of it, but it would not be surprising considering what lengths the opposing side has gone to carry out their plans. Ron Paul has at least given us a choice to carry on for freedom.
