RP on Neil Cavuto (FOX) at 1:00 EST (12/19/07)

Ops. I meant to say 4pm EST like the calendar said (thread title fixed). I have no idea what time Neil comes on. At any rate, just tune in whenever it's on in your area peeps.

oh doh. i'm central so sometimes i'm too dumb to figure out that est is one hour LATER, not earlier

fox is bad. really bad. I'm watching it right now and they're reporting on Brtiney Spear's sister having a baby. They brought on an expert psychologist too. Before that they had a guy from Time and kept trying to get him to say they made Putin person of the year to sell magazines.

This can't be news. They just now reported that animal rights groups are upset because the Chinese put a Santa Claus hat on a whale.

Woot. They had a snap shot of the realclearpolitics poll averages and paul was included at 4.9%

Glad your watching kalami. I hope to get a Cavuto/RP report since I've turned off my cable out of protest.

Any mention of RP being on the show? I'm wondering if it wasn't cancelled since the notice wasn't on RP's homepage (maybe they fogot to take it off the secondary calendar page?).

Asked and answered a dozen times now. Is it really a mystery as to why they keep asking it? They think if they keep repeating it enough, people will think he's a rascist.

Was that what the whole interview was about?

They asked Paul if christmas ads matter and he said it's irrelevant to him because political positions are what count.

Brought up the stormfront thing, nothing new in Paul's response. That guy is out 500 dollars, he doesn't endorse his views, he isn't going to refund money.

Ron Paul did a great job of putting him in his place with lines such as

"There is no way that my campaign is able to go through 100,000 donations one by one",

"Other campaigns have had the same problems and given the money back which is simply pandering"

"The real question you should be asking is why are we allowing the military-industrial complex to give millions of dollars to some of these other candidates and essentially buy our government".

These are all my paraphrasing as I don't have the exact quotes, but they are close to the essence of what Dr. Paul said.

He's getting much better at not only refuting these ridiculous questions(he's always been good at that), but quickly fitting in what he really believes.

Cavuto essentially asked him about Christmas ads from other candidates and the stupid white supremecist donation, and Ron Paul turned it into a great segment of setting the record straight(yet again) and getting his message out there. As a bonus, he pointed out the pandering tactics of the other candidates.

Bring on "Meet the Press". Ron Paul is ready for anything!
