I'll see if it will let me rate it and comment without downloading.

I'll be up until 3 am if I have to download and THEN rate/comment, lol...

I thought it was a good appearance. I wish they would have given Ron more time though.

That's pretty much how the interviews go on that show. He was actually there for a bit longer than others I've seen on there. Usually it's the interview at the beginning of the show that’s the longest. I hope Maher has him back again because he did GREAT on that episode.

It's not so much what he was saying that was so good it was the applause that will really help him. It helps people realize that there are REAL people that support him. I don't think I've ever heard anyone’s name chanted on the show before... that's pretty big.

I thought it was OK. The best parts were when Paul said that Rudy was at home studying tonight. Paul seemed a little nervous. He's in the bigtime now. Hopefully he'll get over that.

How can this video get onto RP's official YouTube channel? His pickings are pretty slim there, and I wonder if he's not getting full credit by not having the good stuff on there, like this and some of the cool music videos supporters have made.

That was encouraging. We need to get these democrats registered as republicans. I know they are movin' more and more over to paul. Particularly after the vote on the war this week.

He did seem to be a bit nervous, but his message was well received. I think it shows people he is a real person and not someone who is trying to sell em some kinda jive.

Anarchist

Thank you for posting the video for those of us who lack the boob tube.

I had the pleasure of working on behalf of Dr. Paul in his presidential bid in 1988.
I honestly believe that Dr. Paul is the last best hope to restore Constitutional government in the United States. I am afraid that the other seventeen presidential candidates (Dem-Rep) will lead this nation over a cliff and the fall is one we will never recover from without an armed revolution as was the War for Independence.

May the spirits of the Founding Fathers guide and protect him.

Bill Maher: Let's be honest

if you think that was Ron Paul at his best you don't know a lot about RP.

IMO, Ron Paul needs to stay more on the cutting edge. What got him to where he is now is being "controversial". He should have pushed Bill Maher to think about a new issue. I am glad he repeated some of Debate 2, but people watching this are intelligent and don't need to hear him say the same thing 3 different ways. Push the Constitution, push individual freedom, push habeas corpus. He pussyfooted around a little bit while Maher failed to bring up any other subject than the "war on terror."

I hope RP's next subject is AIPAC when the Middle East gets brought up - if you know anyone who is international they will let you know that it is a fact that America is Israel's puppet. Israel has noble themes, but how can the world not see that Israel needs to take the higher ground. Being anti Israel =! antisemetic. Then RP states you can check his voting record - he has never voted for AIPACs interests over the interests of Americans.

Also IMO, Bill Maher's ending monolugue was genius. He nailed Bush and the Dems: "Bush is a smorgesborg of suck....he slaughters his speech written for him and then walks off the stage with that shit eating grin - like he is thinking to himself: 'nailed it'. But maybe he is thinking that because he just got the Democrat's to bend to his will again. You know it takes the other side helping out to make a president as bad as Bush." That was very paraphrased.

Long rant, but the bottom line is that I love RP. He can bring together every American of every creed and walk of life under the principles of our founding fathers.

he was nervous - he is in the spotlight now and i hope his campaign can keep up

I hope he got really stoked off the reception he got there. He might seem nervous now but I think he'll catch a stride soon and we ain't seen nothin' yet, he's gonna blow a lot more minds in the near future. Bless you, Bill Maher!
