Ronstockers, check in

Unfortunately, it won't get you there in time to catch the opening of the R4R each morning. It also requires you switch to, for example, train 55 of the Metro to get to downtown.

I was thinking more about people flying in. I expect those with cars and perhaps the bus we are trying to arraign will take care of getting back and forth to Rally events.

Good thought. We could do a mini-Ronvoy ten miles to get people from the shuttle easily enough.

Thanks again, sb. I hope everyone puts in an accurate rsvp early so you can have all the info you need to make it right!

I know we're a bunch of secretive people, but if you want this thing to be slick they need to not be working in the dark.

Also, do cleaners-up earn the right to stay Wednesday night?

Anyone who is still in town can certainly pitch a tent in my yard if the farmer can't accommodate.

I have been talking to the dairy farm owner and he kinda wants everyone out Wed at noon... but if your offering to clean up, he might be ok with that.

We will allow people to get there as early as Friday, but early arrivals will be put to work gathering firewood, setting up the stage, helping with other stuff for the camping, etc... Site is almost done (I am building it) and once approved by dairy farmer, will be live.

I'm sure that will not be a problem;) ,i also wanted you to know when we send out the emails to confirm the site the ones that have signed get first crack at securing spots;) once they give their donation and confirm site from email we send out they will get the exact address of the dairy farm,we will not be posting the address on the site,so everyone after confirming that wants to go ,will be thru word of mouth, just so you know but we have alot of emails so i expect once we send out to confirm it will book up asap;) the email list is the only way to secure a spot;) so if people do not give real name and address and info then they get no spot, this database will only be for the camping registration:) hope that claifys somethings for folks:)

Thank you mightily, Thor. I will clean for as long as I can hang. And thank you for your offer, too, Danke. Looking forward to meeting you both! :)

Could you elaborate on this please?

I'm going to be staying with the Ronvoy ppl instead. I believe it is about $27 a night and includes 3 meals. It goes on sale tommorow night at the ronvoy site. The ronvoy ppl take u there.

Have fun at ronstock, hopefully ill see u guys at the events.

I signed up a few weeks ago, but what I was asking about is the bolded part. Will we be required to give a donation of some sort?

I think it's $20/person to cover the entire event. It's like insurance to cover any possible damages to the property. If there's no damages, it will go to CFL.
